Arriving at the con...? A few questions about what to do once I get there.

Okay, so I'm a first time con-goer and I'm going to ACen. and I'm going with a friend. I don't know how this is supposed to go so please bare with me:

1. Do you HAVE to be there for the Opening Ceremony? Because I probably won't get to the con until one PM.
2. Once we get to the center, what do we do? I pre-reg'd and I have my badge with me but once we get there do we need to go to a certain place. So basically, when we drive up and enter the door, what do we do?

If it means anything, I'm younger than 18.

The opening ceremonies are optional. Just another event at the con.

Opening Ceremonies are optional :)

If you already have your badge you do not need to do anything. If you want a lanyard and/or a program book, you can stop by Hall A of the convention center for those. But other than that there's no checking in or anything, just come on in and start having FUN! :D

1. Opening ceremonies are optional. You don't need to attend.
2. If you already have your badge then youre ready to have fun at acen! Download the schedule online if you want and pick events you want to see.

I would recommend going to the convention center to get a program book, because it lists all the things going on, explains what they are and has maps to show you where to find them.
