Is this allowed? Question about metal chain

I have a question for a friend who doesn't post here anymore, but she wonders if it's okay to bring a chain that connects to a prop that will only be used in pictures.

It's similar to a nunchunk on how it connects to the prop. (although it isn't a nunchuck. lol)

(someone posted this in general cosplay, but we figured it might be better here)

There's nothing inherently against the rules about a chain.
