A customer actually complained I'm too fast (and efficient) at scanning and he felt "rushed."
Nope, I know why you got mad dude.
You didn't get a chance to use all your cheesy pick up lines.
"So are you new?"
"Nope, been here almost a year." *scanscanscan*
"Oh...because I haven't seen you around before. I'm usually here in the evening, maybe that's it."
"Nope, they make me work evening shift a lot." *scanscanscan - done*
Cue whining about being rushed.
Oh I hate those types of people I had a line of 10 people and growing, I make a bit of small talk so my coworker has time to finish drinks without being rush and messing up drinks and the customer didn't take the hint I was done with them and I moved on to the next person making the customer mad that I cut her off, then she asked my coworker what my name was, since the customer didn't keep the receipt since it had my real name on it, my coworker asked me for my name which I said 'Diane'. I have to keep the line moving since we are in front of an entrance, I can't hold her hand until she gets her drink I have other people to serve.
