Buying a Badge at Con Regarding IDs and age restrictions

Last year, when a friend and I went to Acen, we were able to get in with a school ID without a legal guardian(Well, my friend was, I had my awesome brother, who is 23, get me in.) Our school ID has our year of school, grade level, photo, name, and an ID number with bar code. I know some places require an ID with a photo and birthdate. I'm not able to find if Acen is any different. I was only able to find that children 14 and under require some sort of parental permission or something(or I could be entirely wrong.) I also do have my driving permit, if that makes a difference, at some places, it does. :3 My current age is 15 and I will be 15.9945205479452055 at time of registration. Basically, my question is, what are the requirements of registering at con for a 15 year old?

The only reason we check ID is to confirm your name matched your picture. We don't require a birth date.

If we don't have a school iD and were 14 what can we use?( I'm coming with my older sister)

Ages 16 and under do not need an ID. We cannot reasonably expect them to have a photo ID. You'll be fine :)

Thank you, but to make sure, I don't need a parent/guardian? And I will be having friends who are 14/15, would they need a parent/guardian to buy the badge for them? I'm referring to at con registration, if that changes anything.

And sorry about posting it in the wrong topic, I thought it belonged in convention policies/rules. >.<

No you do not need a parent or guardian. But please be aware of Rosemont's Curfew laws, I think it's 16 and under have to be either in their hotel or home by midnight but I'm not 100% sure on that.
