So I have discovered that I LOVE tattoos! And I want to get an epic anime tattoo but i'm undecided as to what character to do!!!!! Any help? Or do you have any cool ones to brag about?

The only time a media-related tattoo is acceptable is when it looks cool to both outsiders and people in the know. Like this, for example.

To Suigetsu, honestly Etna would look better as a black silhouette, if you got a tattoo of her. Something that Disgaea fans would instantly recognize, yet still look bad arse to anyone regardless of whether they like animu or not. Just my take on it, though. Sort of like the silhouette or Trish from the DMC1 logo, or the Trish's Little Devils (DMC1 dev team's codename) logo. It's your body.

I do have good reasons, not just for the anime itself, but for what each symbol stands for.

I'm not really planning to get anime tattoos but game related ones. My first tattoo will be a Rule of Rose one. It's going to be the chalkboard with "everlasting true love i am yours" with the chalkboard Jennifer and Brown [the one next to the health bar and such] as well as roses around it. It's going to be related to my family and dog too so even when I'm like...50 I'll still be happy with it.
I'm getting it done after acen so I'll post pictures when I have it
I also am getting a Fatal Frame 2 tattoo in the summer. Tattoos make me so excitedddd~ /swoons

I'd really like a tattoo of brainy cat. Probably get it on my right shoulder. Have no idea when I'll get it though.

If you're going to get one, I don't think it'd help much to ask us who to get since it'll be on your body. Luckily enough, there are plenty of awesome characters so if you do end up playing Russian roulette with your choices, you'll most likely end up with a good one.

@Sir, I want to do a whole salvation/damnation thing and would want an angel eventually on my right shoulder. A silhouette is something to consider though.

@Suigetsu - Yep. I'm planning to have all FF games represented with tattoos and am starting with crimson butterfly. I love Fatal Frame that much lol.

@ZombieCareBear - It'd also help to know what types of shows you're into and such. Are there any shows that hold special meaning to you? Tattoos are something that shouldn't be decided on the fly after all :]

I have the gurren brigade symbol on my right shoulder. It does mean a little more to me then just what it is from the anime so that also helped in making my choice. Getting a triforce tattoo just because you like zelda is....meh ok. Nothing wrong with that but I like to have something mean something more to me. At least a little bit.

It's the crest of Solaris from my favorite video game of all time, Xenogears. Plus, I've wanted to get a video game tat that actually meant something to me, and Xenogears will always have a special place in my heart. The only change I'll be making to it is replacing what looks like the symbol for Aries (very bottom of the logo) with the one for Taurus. Oh, I love being a double bull.

I don't have any tattoos, but I've considered getting the Hylian Crest on my upper back, too! I've just haven't done it for a few reasons. =3
