[Taka-Breaka]

Just wanted to ask, how many people will be bringing their handhelds with them?
This question roots from the 3DS streetpass function. (Or whatever function it was..)
Where you must meet/walk by someone who also has a 3DS in order to collect puzzle pieces and heroes for the Mii Plaza games.

But why limit it to just that?
There are also other handhelds with other games that people want to bring, and hopefully find and meet people to play with.
(I used to have Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, but seriously, game's just no fun without people to play with.)

I'll definitely be bringing my 3DS with Pokemon Black and my PSP with a small collection of games that I have for it. (Including Dissidia Duodecim and Final Fantasy Tactics and a few other games)

True, but the real question I wanted to know was how many people will have a 3DS and bringing it?
I've only ever walked by 1 other 3DS, and that's the gamestop 3DS that they have out for people to try.
So really, I just wanna know if I'll be able to walk by a bunch of people with a 3DS in their pocket/hands or not.
I'll probably have my 3DS in my left pocket all throughout the con, using the built in pedometer and activity log. (And hopefully find a bunch of mii's in my mii plaza)

I'll try adding those.
Only reason I added GBA is DS/lite and Wii are backward compatibles with the previous generation of GBA and GC.

xP Sorry but I traded mine in to gamestop. Though, getting it back is cheap. 8 for new, 13 for pre-owned.

This is why the game room should have scheduled handheld meetups / tournaments. Everyone brings their DS, but actually meeting people and playing is hit and miss. Hopefully there's a Nintendo photoshoot at least.


I'll have my DS ready for any Pokémon wireless =] DPP/HGSS/BW. Full Isshu/Unova dex in my JP White if anyone needs any monsters! Get a shiny with Masuda Method.

I could probably do multiplayer on any DS game anyone wants (whee flashcard), but I'm really only more familiar with:
Dragon Quest IX
Mario Kart DS / Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing
Phantasy Star 0 - Sort of. Haven't finished it, but wireless is fun.

It might be fun to share songs or games on stuff like WarioWare DIY or KORG DS-10, too - I have all those creative games.
I always bring my Game Boy incase somebody wants to battle or trade. I also carry my Pokémon deck =]

I have an awful lot of portable devices in working condition...

* original DS
* PSP (I think it's model 2000)
* Windows XP laptop
* iPod Touch
* Gameboy Color
* Sega Game Gear

In the last couple years, I brought my DS, PSP, and few games for each. Last year I also brought Uno, Phase Ten, and Apples to Apples. I mostly just used the DS for wasting time with Pictochat, and got just a couple chances to use my card games.

This year, I will definitely bring my DS and card games. Might think about bringing one or two other devices.

I'll have you know that I am a completely sober person!
I have never done any illegal drugs!
Only took prescription medication while inside a medical facility.
Never drank a drop of alcohol since I was 7 (Two styrofoam cups with lids on. One with mountain dew, the other my dad's beer. I guessed wrong.)

Beside, as a new memeber of staff this year, that would look poorly on me.

Now, to the big question!

Finding people in PictoChat is one of the most fun things at cons! I've met some really cool people, and had some hilarious times in PictoChat. 3DS people will be missing out - why isn't PictoChat on 3DS?! I wonder if flashcards could emulate it somehow.

Whoo! 10 people will be bringing their PSPs! We might just be able to get some sort of Monster Hunter party going!
And it looks like I'll be able to get at least 3 new Mii's for my 3DS!
There really should be some sort of Handheld Gaming Room at ACen.
I mean, there's a room for cards and tabletop, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem for handhelds.
But oh well.

Hahah, I should bring my Game Gear (with Surf Ninjas in it) and Atari Lynx just for lulz...

I'll be bringing my PSP with me. As far as multiplayer stuff goes, I have Gods Eater Burst, Lumines, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva 2nd, and Rengoku II: The Stairway to H.E.A.V.E.N.

For multiplayer DS games, I have Meteos, Bleach: The 3rd Phantom, Bomberman Land Touch 2, Contra 4, Geometry Wars Galaxies, Ketsui Death Label, N+, Ouendan, Puyo Pop Fever, and Puzzle Bobble DS. I'm not planning on bringing my DS unless anyone is interested in playing any of those with me, so if you are, send me a PM and I'll be sure to bring it.

And what is Ouendan/EBA multiplayer like? I wonder if Jam with the Band has multiplayer...
I haven't actually played Bomberman much, but it's supposed to be fun multiplayer. I think I have it ready to play.

I've only used multiplayer once (since no one else I knew owned the game ¬¬), but it's pretty fun. While you play, depending on how well you do, little obstacles appear on the opponent's screen like bombs and water balloons. Also, since you asked about Ouendan too, it's great. The little scenarios are fun to watch~. This is a pretty crappy video, but you can get the gist of it.

If I get a new game at ACen, I'll probably be carrying mine around. Lightweight+1 battery. Can't really multiplayer with WonderSwan, though.

And Trini, that sounds like Tetris multiplayer sort of, ha. I'm definitely not awesome at EBA - haven't played too much.
