[Hooked On Chibis!]

So, I'm a little surprised I haven't asked this already, and there have been a few threads that touched on this a little, but I want to get a clear, centralized idea on this, so:

What do you, the con-goers, want to see from the artists this year, as far as fandoms?

Obviously, half the fun of an AA is the treasure-hunting aspect: "I wonder if I can find anything with Cid Highwind in it", "Has anyone made hacky-sacks of the Big Dango Family?", "How many plushie onigiri will I be able to buy?" and so forth. And half the fun of being an artist is lovingly creating tribute works for your favorite characters and universes (universii?). But the total of these things - when an attendee finds an awesome fan-art that the artist loved creating - is greater than the sum of its parts, or something philosophical and not at all business-driven.

Anyway, are you sick of seeing Naruto? Would you blow your whole paycheck if only someone would do Tales Of fan-art? Do you love Pokemon, but just never seem to find your personal favorite? Tell us about it, while we still have time to prepare in advance!

Years ago I had the hardest time finding anything Azumanga Diaoh.. in particular Neko ko neko related (or Maia ko maia even!). I ended up finally finding patches like two years ago when there was a small resurgance of stuff in the dealers room, but yeah, I'd snap up plushes of the cutey kitties if they were around ;D

I'm just throwing this out there, but if there is something in particular you want made into a plushie, you could always commission an artist in the artist alley for it. If anyone here decides to do that though, please make sure to bring plenty of reference images with you and have a very clear idea of what you want done.

That was the idea behind this thread I'll be taking commissions at the con at my AA table, but if someone knows NOW that they want a particular item, I can try to get it done in advance

I have both Chocobos and Moogles in my regular lineup, and I'll be sure to bring plenty along

This photo is an order I recently did through Etsy, and contains (among others) both a Chocobo and a Moogle, for reference. (The tan guy in the front is Kero from Cardcaptors, he's not actually a Squeenix character!)

I currently do Goku, Gohan (in his yellow closing-credits outfit), King Kai, and Piccolo. I'm also trying to do some Dragonball hacky-sacks, but that's still in the development stages while I try to find a good yarn in the right color. So I may or may not have some by ACen.

Well, in that case, I'd like to make my suggestion an official request. If you can do a Mana of Wood before ACen, I'll pick it up there (or I'll have my boyfriend pick it up since he works in Exhibit Hall).

You know, we heard a lot of requests for Durarara!! while we were at Sakura-Con, but we haven't seen it yet ^^; can you give us some ideas while we add it to our viewing list?

Also, I have an 11th doctor design in the works I'll do my best to bring one along! (Fair warning, he'll be wearing a fez)

Oh, and a question for everyone:

I've recently finished watching Clannad, and was really inspired to make hacky-sacks of the Big Dango Family. *I* think they'd be super cute, and the prototype one I made came out just adorably, but am I the only one who would lose her cool over this level of cute? Is Clannad relatively obscure? I have no real grasp of how "known" any given anime is ^^;
