My cosplay character walks around with a baseball bat. Is that okay????

It certainly is okay for your cosplay's character to walk around with a baseball bat.

But seriously, folks... Yes, a baseball bat is a perfectly acceptable prop, unless you start swinging it around or hitting people or things with it. Then it becomes a perfectly-confiscatable prop. So please don't do that, and you'll be fine.
