A few friends of mine really want me to go, but I definitely can't take off work for it. May check it out on Friday afternoon or Saturday. My gf lives nearby there (I am literally in Chicago) so maybe I'll drag her along too. It's no Acen, but it's nice to have another anime con in the Chicagoland area.

That's what I like about KollisionCon too. It's a nice con to go in between ACENS but also if you can't go one year (let's hope not!!!! T_T) it's nice to go to a con where lots of people from ACEN will be and that is still in the Chicagoland area.

I am thinking of moving to Chicago again... when I do... watch out! I'll be going to as many cons as possible.

YEAAAAAH! And Chicago is just awesome anyway! I know for sure after I get out of school and when I have a normal work schedule I'll be making time for cons for suuure!

Btw, did anyone go to Kollision Con last year? I'm just curious on people's opinions on it since today is the deadline for getting the $40 ticket price, and there's still no panel list up or anything :/

^ Yeah I don't know why there's hardly any information for events and panels up yet D: Kind of bothering me.

It's a nice smaller con considering it's only in its 2nd year. Last year it was very intimate and a lot of fun. There were awesome artists and the panels were interesting. The game room had a good selection. The attendees were very nice as well as the staff. I didn't go to the masquerade or rave though I wanted to D: [Will there even be a rave this year? there's like 0 information right now...] All in all, it's a pretty good con for its small size. I hope it's good this year as well.


I'm going to be cosplaying Roulette Boy and My Son from Gregory Horror Show. There definitely should be an acen meetup on friday or saturday!

The con is pretty chill. Sure it isn't as active as ACen, but it's better since you get to be more sociable and more involved with the con. I sure wish they release the schedule soon. I need to know what are my event times.

I heard Johhny Yong Bosch is going to be at Kollisioncon this year, is that right...? >w< I want to go but finances will probably keep me from going. I'm trying to go all out for Anime Central and invest a lot of my money in props, cosplay, new camera equipment, etc. Who knows though -- my group ended up registering for Ramencon 2 weeks before the convention. I had no idea we were actually going to go through with things and go. Anyone been to Kollisioncon before? o.o

Calm, adequate. Met friends from Meetup group, stayed for a few hours.

Will go to St Charles on Sat morning, with my usual con gear (cash, DS, card games, granola bars, fannish shirt, etc). Not expecting much except a relaxing event.
