For one of my cosplays this year I wanted to also include the gun the character uses as part of it. I just wanted to be 100% positive it would be allowed before I get started on it, but the character uses a flintlock rifle so I was going to buy a toy cap gun for it....
This is the actual toy cap gun here.
It has the orange tip on it and I was going to paint it white with a design on it so it will look nothing like a real firearm. Hopefully a toy gun won't be any problem, just wanted confirmation from some Acen people so I don't inadvertently violate any rules, thanks in advance for anyone's help.
P.s. Here is a picture of what the prop will end up looking like, I won't be bringing any of the caps that go with it and of course will be leaving the orange tip on the actual toy.

Edit: Read more of the description of the gun.
i don't see why it would be a problem, just remember to not point it at people and please do not cover the orange tip.

Not a problem, Don't forget to swing by IRT early for the official "Check" so you don't get hassled while you are out having fun.
