Indeed the time has changed.....

I finally caught up and i look back on what I watched and i think to myself "...wtf...just happened???"

I bought a "Bronies for Life" badge during ACen 2011. At the time, I'd only watched a few minutes of the first episode, but I'd heard many good things about the show. Bumped into a number of fans at the con who saw the badge and thought it was humorous or awesome.

At this time, I'm finally up to episode three. Enjoying it so far, becoming a Fluttershy fan. But I still find it really difficult to sit down and actually watch MLP:FIM. (I have done a lot of other things instead... re-watching Bakemonogatari, watching Total Recall, playing the XBLA indie game Infinity Danger, reading the fan translated version of Canvas 2...)

After seeing some great drawings of Human versions, I've been debating about doing a human-form cosplay for next ACen, but I'm not sure which one.

fluttershy is the cutest thing in the world. i think i like her "going nuts" moment more then pinkie pie since it was nice to see her have a dark and evil side.

If I remember right, that was Kaia, but my memory is sometimes horrible so forgive me if I'm wrong lol.

If there's one thing that kills the show... is the incessant fans.

I can't browse a forum now without the subject topic being somehow flooded by ponies. Same thing happened on Newgrounds with PaSwG where image macros were posted 15 times in a thread.

I saw the two part pilot. It's not a bad show and i got a few giggles. But the internet, in true internet fashion went bat crap insane and basically killed the whole thing for me.

The sad thing is that it is so true. After looking into the series, it was cool to see that Lauren Faust is credited with coming up with it, she who is married to Craig McCracken, and both working on series such as the Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.

I haven't got a chance to watch it yet, but I going to since i used to collect the toys when I was younger and I watched the DVD's they came with, and made a bracelet out of the charms they came with (too bad they it doesn't fit me anymore). My favorite was Rainbow Dash whenI was little, so she still might be. I'll give it a try.

On the internet, everything is ridiculous. Especially in fandoms. So much trolling, and so many flame wars. There's plenty of not-very-serious discussions about fannish behavior on TVTropes. See this Wikipedia article if you want a serious topic about online behavior. It's disturbing, and not worksafe.

I love Rainbow Dash, because she's the tomboy and is very sarcastic. She proves that just because you're a pegasus doesn't mean you have to be all girly and sparkly, and she acts kind of like me! I love how she's different from the other ponies, and how she's different from the Rainbow Dash from previous generations of MLP.
