Anime eyes! They are always big and beautiful. They also seem to be unachievable without knowing your way around makeup and all it's special tools.
I know how to put on makeup, but I am no professional. I will be cosplaying Captian Soi Fon from Bleach. Click me for close up I know she isn't complex in the makeup department, but I really want to make my eyes stand out.

Any ideas?

All help is appreciated!
^-^

Michelle Phan's tutorials are awesome, and really user-friendly. She has a few tutorials where the eyes are really noticeable, so I chose a few:

Barbie look
Brighter, Larger-looking eyes
Makeup for glasses (more subtle, but the eyes are still highlighted)

...and last but not least (in fact, maybe it should have been first? XD):

You can also try for the circle lens and fake lashes look.

I honestly didn't even think of fake lashes! Thank you for the idea, I will have to pick some up and try them out.

Well, although I've noticed their use both at the convention and in Phan's videos.. o-o; I wouldn't recommend the circle lens bit. They're not legal state-side, and propose many risks, including blindness according to some reports.. @w@
ACen 2011: Cosplays have been determined-ish!!!!

Iris - Pokemon Black/White ::: 75%
Female Wario ::: 10%
Ganguro Gal ::: 90%

^-^ I am going today for an eye exam to get my eye specs so I can have legit colored contacts. I have two pair already... but they aren't the most comfortable and my violet pair don't really cover my whole iris. Thank you
