ARRRGG, why can't all muy friends just not have an issue with each other... I want to throw a Christmas dinner party.

But like 3 of my best friend dudes are incompatible... They will tolerate each other for my sake but it's rather annoying when they have to play I'm the best dude/male stuff or whatever. I don't want them to ruin the dinner but I also don't want to have 2 dinners. Also of the 9 people I would invite I think 3 would start something, 3 might just leave, and about 3 of us would just try to stay neutral.

No one is excited for christmas. FU

My issue is the apartment. We can't move because I don't have a job and all the places in this city you need to have double the amount of income as well as good credit and because of the jail issue I don't. So the apartment has sewage issues and everyone else in the building complains about it but don't do anything about it.

The main problem is the basement, the landlord won't fix or clean it, thus it comes up in our tub and the smell does as well. It has been health concerns in the past but I can't do anything about it.

I called the inspector as well as DCFS and they won't do anything about it, towards the landlord or otherwise. I called the Tenant's rights as well but nothing.

Also the light company has messed up not once but three times. We told them the new address twice and they didn't put it down in the system either times. They say it's our fault becauase they only found out about our address from the post office, even though we have been paying the bill for three months, and assumed that our shipping address was not our current residence address.

Not only that but the light company has canceled the plan I was on early, making me pay more fees. They say this is also our fault because I paid early, about five days in advance, and the money came to them the next day, but they didn't process it until a day after the due date.

I have called not once, but three times and have been on hold for about 45 minutes. I'm going to call them again but because of all of this mess I feel hopeless and depressed.

Isn't any of this grounds for legal action by the tenants? No offense but this landlord sounds like a piece of dookie if he fails to uphold his part of the landlord/tenant agreement. There is no reason you should have to deal with sewage, FRICKING HUMAN WASTE, on this basis.

The fact the agencies WHO ARE SWORN TO UPHOLD THESE RULES are not doing anything... what are my tax dollars going towards?

@KirbyFanOne: That's another issue. The tenants here are...trifling to put it nicely. I mean garbage out the door, (there is suppose to be a guy to pick it up, since they lock the garbage, but there are cans near the gate.)

From what my mom said the first inspector told her, as well as what I asked, the tenants not only lived in these conditions, for months and even years, but some of them deal with bedbugs. Half if not most of their whole attitude is, 'meh whatever. Its cheap and I can be lazy.' because only my mom and two others out of eight/nine people responded to the call.

My only option is to bug the hell out of the city, go to a shelter, or deal with it for a year and move if I can get a job.

What's really making me rage is the light company. They still say I owe for not telling them the new address and three months that I already paid in their error. Like 700 dollars.

@KirbyFanOne: Chicago. Most of the South, West, and Southwest sides are sadly like this. 35th/Bronzeville USED to be like this until 2000.

Its compared to St. Louis or Detroit in terms of area and people. So when people run into me or my mom, they either think we are like the people in the area or can't believe we are different.

I feel that way most of the time or disregard things with a grain of salt, unless I am feeling really low. I seemed to take this in life pretty well, which is why I don't come here to fuuuuu so much unless it's something outside of my power and really really stupid.

Example of humorous rage moment that I seen:

So a man asked if we have microwave, I said no and he asked for hot water which I give him some. Then he asked the new store, that open while I was off, if they have a microwave which I didn't know they did so. I would like to say a big FU to the man for not asking them before asking for the hot water. I know it seems crazy of me but why not ask around then ask me for hot water. It was a waste of my time to ask me.

So my friends and I were going to get some late night food and all of a sudden a car runs the red light and almost crashes into us. RAGE!! To think that innocent people (us) could have been seriously hurt or dead because of a bunch of stupid people. The driver must have been out of it because neither he or his three passengers decided to acknowledge me as I honked them to a complete stop. After coming to a screeching halt in the middle of the intersection, they decide to reverse back to the spot where they were supposed to stop in the first place. Idiots...

Because of my sore throat, I won't speak a lot so my voice don't crack and this teenage girl I will not say anything else because a certain person complained because I said what race they were. looks at the menu and leaves. 20 minutes later she comes back and asked if we had a tea, I nod my head yes because at that moment my throat was supper dry and she left. 20 minutes later she comes back:

Girl: What is Your name!

Me: (Confused look) What?

Girl: What is your name!

Me: What is the a problem? (Notice a drink next to her.) I can help you if you have a problem?

Girl: I just need your name.

Me: Diana (One of the fake name I have for people like her.)

Girl: MOM! her name is Diana.

What did I ever did to you!! FU stupid teenage girl I don't need to take your garbage. You need to get beat like they did back then because now a days kids are rude! A swift hand is what she needs and I don't mind giving it to her.
