@.@ funny how this thread ended up focusing on dogs because dogs are one of the make things that make me mad ><!!
Everyone I know or meet that has a dog always tells me aww "this one isn't like other dogs" and I try as hard as I can not to generalize or stereotype but all dogs hate me.... I haven't met a single dog that hasn't bitten me

What makes me even more mad is when I tell people that I can't be around dogs because I may have to end up defending myself with something and killing them before they kill me and they do it anyway >.> I literally have scars all over my legs from dog bites I have some scars on my back on stomach and a few on my arms from after I got knocked down once. Luckily they fade away eventually @.@

My brother said "maybe they just smell the pikachu in you" This did not amuse me :/
I am me I am I - I will reside inside of your mind - Tear me out and torture me - Make me bleed and make me see - The darkest depths of mankind - Make me hate and make me burn - Grow me up and help me learn - Bully me and tell me off - Be better off then me - Just remember lessons learned - I will live and you will burn - I am fate and you are fear - Ill bloody you without a tear - because it is my fate to kill - I slaughter all the minds of ill - I make this world a better place - I slaughter all the human race

@ Amelko and AmberCross: I feel your pain!
Today I wound up bringing a large, heavy umbrella with me to work to defend myself from the dogs incase they decided to attack again. I felt kind of silly walking down the street holding an umbrella on a sunny day, but it's better than being a chew toy for those vicious dogs. If things don't get any better, I'll probably have to take a different rout to work.

I-I like dogs :(

Another thing that makes me mad is con/cosplay drama. Honestly, it is one of the most childish things I've seen on the fact that people are beefing over dressing up like anime characters or because of an anime convention they didn't like. It is mostly high schoolers in the community doing this but I've seen some grown folks do this sorta thing and it's just mind wrecking

Oh con drama :(

I don't think that will ever go away. Best you can do is try to stay out of it.

At first I thought they were pretty dumb myself but then it exploded and turned into a huge phenomenon. Almost every store has their own take on the Snuggie. Versions I've seen include specific video games (street fighter, kingdom hearts, etc), sports teams, music bands, & more! Those things are so thin & light but warm & cozy as well. I now fully approve of that crazy invention.

I'm pretty sure that a Snuggie is just a robe without a waste tie that you wear backwards... That being said, my girlfriend has a Chicago Bears Snuggie and it is awesome. Like NinjaJedi, I am a Snuggy convert!

Speaking of wizards, didn't the Wizard in the Where's Waldo? books get harder and harder to find? It was either him or the dog... or both. I'm pretty sure you never saw the dog in it's entirety but only it's little striped tail. The start of the book clearly shows all of the characters. You can see Waldo and the bumble bee man on every page but not others? What's the deal!!?

>< that sucks!!

I remember one time I was trying to avoid trouble on my way home from volunteering at a homeless shelter and I saw these two children outside with a dog that was at least twice their size. As I got closer the dog started barking at me and the children were being pulled by the dog chain. I would just like to take a time out here to say 1. I hate dogs, 2, I hate irresponsible parents, 3. I hate people who think that animals are supposed to be friendly FFS!!! anyway the dog got loose and chased me all the F***ing way home. I swear I'm going to get a gun one of these days and go on a dog killing spree

As someone whose volunteered off and on for years for the Animal Care League (a local shelter)..your post..really saddens me.. o-o;; Seeking harm on an animal is never okay.. No domesticated animal is vicious by nature. Dogs can tell when you dislike them. As a human, you give off a scent when you are hostile. Dogs pick up this scent, and out of fear, they become aggressive. It's kind of like walking down the street and someone suddenly glares at you, stares you down, or acts suspicious.. In response, you become tense, prepared for the worse, and get to attack if you have to. Living down town, I do it all the time when I see suspicious characters.. When riding the 'L' at night, I'll even keep my hand wrapped on my mace bottle out of sheer paranoia.. It's the same way for an animal.. Bearing their teeth is no different than how I clutch my mace bottle.. When they sense someone hates them, they simply get prepared for the worse.. Now, I'm not saying go out and love dogs, not that at all!! @___@;; If I were in your position, I'd totally hate them as well.. but.. I would at least maybe try to develop a tolerance around them, as it will help with their aggression towards you.. o-o; If that's too troublesome, I say avoid them at all costs..

Dx And before you go buying a gun, or calling the police.. Please, please, please try contacting a local shelter or animal control when you see a dog off leash.. T.T So many animals are killed when they need not be, and although several millions are euthanized within these shelters each year, contacting one at least gives the creature a better chance of survival... There are even "No-Kill" shelters out there.. And even if you could care less about whether or not the creature dies, think of it this way.. Contacting the right authority not only rids that animal from the streets, but prevents it from having offspring which adds on to the stray dog problem and the over-population of canines..

I know I'm going off topic, but I am truly passionate about animals.. They are so often misunderstood, and put to death because of it.. It happens every day, and it's something that really makes me go FFFFFFFFFFFFFF.... ._.

I'm pretty sure Ambercross wasn't being serious [I hope.].I completely agree with this. Animals don't have a voice, they cannot speak like you and I so they unfortunately get have to resort to other measures. They cannot tell us when they are in pain, when they are scared and when they are being mistreated. It really makes me "fuuuuuu". Your approach Pashy is exactly what I would do.

I own three adopted dogs and they are considered family. They are trained to be very loving to people we introduce them to and they will only react when a member of the family or the house is in danger. [or they see a squirrel lol]

Gwaaah!! ^w^ Thank you, Miss Lenne! I've actually been looking into adopting another one as well, heh! I found the perfect tri-podded Chihuahua... now its a matter of convincing my dad to let me take in another pet! I know he'll budge..

xD But it's true! Canines often get a bad rep, especially your larger breeds, but when people claim that animals aren't naturally pets, it's the honest to goodness truth. There can be several reasons as to why a dog may feel the need to attack, but I guarantee it is never just for the heck of it. ^^;;
