So, what's your guilty pleasure(s)?

My guilty pleasure is that I watch the Maury show and Jerry Springer whenever I see its on. I find it all amusing. And I love watching Jerry and Maury as the mediator in the middle. Their facial expressions are the best part. XD

I really like Lady Gaga. Not just her music, which is awesome, but the act she puts on and the persona she maintains. She is awesome. She has a total "be who you want, screw the rest of the world" attitude that I love. And she seems to be able to enjoy all the glare of fame. :3

I enjoy the TV show One Tree Hill, as silly as it is. Even though it's pretty typical, B-grade teen drama at times, the characters all seem pretty natural, and I like that.

Oh, and Katy Perry music. Baby you're a firework~

Yeah I like watching it, makes me laugh. I just wish I got home at the same time I did last year
so Id just have groups of friends over just laughing at it or helping eachother choose male or female

Don't worry everyone, I always laugh at "you are not the father." What I love a ton is when the two people fight and are literally at each others throats, then when the guy finds out he IS the father, the hug and make up. It's so funny and like "What the HECK!!" O_o" XDDD

-Degrassi
-Random reality shows

I'm sure there are others, but I can't really think of them at the moment. Degrassi may not be considered really a guilty pleasure, but it is one of those teen soap opera shows, so to some it may be one.

Afterwards, I watched Dr. Phil with the angsty rebellious teenage girl.
Today is a veeeery lazy day for me, lmfao. I remember I used to go over
to my good friend's house after middle/high school and we would make sandwiches
and watch the Dream Team: Maury, Dr. Phil, and Jerry Springer. We like,
lived for those shows. XD 'Twas awesome.

Hmm, I can't eat much ice cream because I have a mild lactose intolerance. I rarely get Chinese and when I end up eating at a more expensive restaurant, it's paid for by someone else.

I can't stop listening to the soundtrack (the non lyrical. the keytar or whatever it is call stuffs. lol I actually like that kinda music.)

Also if video game soundtracks are a guilty pleasure, then I'm on death row, just about 85% of the music I listen to IS that.

I haven't turned on my television to actually watch it since.. uh, high school sometime, I think? And even then it was only to watch Smallville, though I quit watching that when it started seeming too sexually oriented and not enough superhero oriented. I've thought television was full of crap for years, and that's when I started picking up a lot more books than I did when I was younger, and started gaming more often.

And I'd think that the only reason something could be a 'guilty pleasure' is if you feel like you shouldn't necessarily be doing it. So I don't see anything wrong with anime and game soundtracks. o:

@ishoko,well, i consider most anime kind of cheesy, and listening to game soundtracks definitely isn't considered 'real music' by most people, so yeah..even the really, really well-composed ones aren't really taken seriously or whatever. not saying it's bad, just saying it's not something i'd necessarily BRAG about to people i didn't know very well.

lol, i was teasing you, but i honestly don't think watching jersey shore makes you lose any knowledge that wasn't already missing--and i didn't mean YOU specifically, i meant that most tv isn't, like, this intelligent entertainment, anyway, so i don't get people attacking jersey shore, because it's 'dumb'; it's just silly and fun, which it should be.

if i want edification, i'll turn OFF the tv.

I watch that show too! I kept up with it during the first two or three seasons of the original, but after a while I just kind of stopped. I still watch random episodes here and there when I see that it's on.
