Hey all I know there are tons of crafty people out there, and I thought I would share some websites I have found that make doing crafts easier.

Sells hand dyed yarn.

For those who do needle and thread art work:

For those wanting to get into crochet, this site has really helped me. They have videos showing you the motions of different stitches which I find easier than looking at pictures.

I want to suggest WolfDreamer as a pattern site for those who want to make cute little video game related amigurumi or want some inspiration. :3

There are just so many craft websites out there.

My sister started me on crochet last winter. This winter I made a blanket that is about 6'x6'.
I feel really proud that I made one that big.

But sometime I just look at the fun types of yarn out there and think of all the cool things I could do with it. Too bad my house is not bigger.

Ravelry is my favorite crochet and knit site. Craftster is my favorite general craft site. I look to Craftster when I need inspiration for projects. My username is sere on both if anybody wants to add me. ^3^

Craft Gawker! is a relatively recent website, but everything is so pretty---it's a little on the indie side, but there's some treasures in the DIY section amongst others. Has from jewelry to books, to crochet, and then some. It's awesome. Plus it's a part of the whole Gawker group which includes Food Gawker (My favorite! lots of amazing recipes), and Wedding Gawker which may have some useful things like constructing dresses or petticoats, and just plain ole' pretty things for the home : )
