So, instead of complaining that there's nothing good in the fridge like most days, I decided to be a bit proactive and cook up something different today. Nothing extraordinary, just some baked fish, but I'm really happy about how it turned out. My family always tells me that I can't cook or that I have weird taste, but that fish was on point. What makes it even better is my uncle ate some fish I had saved for my dinner a few nights before and what I made tonight tastes better than that so it somewhat makes up for the fact he ate my dinner. Even though no one else wanted it and this seems silly, I'm really proud of myself for not burning it/seasoning it wrong/etc. Anywho~, what have the rest of you done recently that made you proud of yourselves?

Hmm, well, despite sleeping until 11 (very late for me, despite being in college), I dragged myself out of bed to walk to the grocery store and get some food for the next week or two. I was also proactive and got a huge jumpstart on a lab report that isn't due for two weeks. I learned the hard way the last time that putting it off is NOT FUN. (Good job, me!)

Plus I just biked 12 miles. Holla.

Good for you!!! I am also learning how to cook and I know that having family that thinks you can't cook makes it harder to learn how to do it.

Today, I did some laundry which is no surprise since there is always something to wash. I also worked on my new fun crafty project that I started and am really pleased with how things are turning out. I stared making beaded hair accessories. So far I have made 8. But I feel really good that I did 6 of those 8 today!!!

I played DDR! Haha. I used to play that game for hours a day, but haven't played it in years because I lost touch with a lot of my DDR-playing friends. And today [and yesterday] I played the game again. I was so proud that I could still play some of the songs on Heavy mode! :3

Took care of my boyfriend. He has Influenza :\ He's had a 103 fever for the past two days, and it's making him really achey. And of course the nasty cough that comes with the flu :\

I'm just glad I got my shot this year, especially so I can take care of him.

I woke up at noon, watched Crows Zero 1 and 2 with my sister, putzed around on my computer and pretty much did nothing else. A very unproductive day. I've been sick with a cold though so it was nice to rest.

even tho' i most surely did not plan it i did a good amount of running yesterday. I literaly ran for every darn bus i had to get on.(thank u evil baby sister) But i guess it was better than just doing DDR...even tho' DDR is more fun.

Just an idea, but for those who want to get in shape it helps to have others who help you and keep you going.
Maybe an exercise thread, like with people posting daily what they have done to get in shape.

It will help everyone make a plan and stick to it, cause then others can call them out on it.

As for pics, I have one of the first 2 I did. But I have no where to post it to. I am just about the only person with out a social networking account of any kind. And I like it that way!!!

I am glad i FINALLY rented the carpet cleaner from Lowe's and cleaned all the downstairs carpets on Friday! I was so tired after wards I barely remember crawling into bed, lol. Also cleaned up the computer room and finally set up the two extra book shelves I bought last weekend to organize all my crap.. er stuff onto It was a very productive weekend for house cleaning and organizing, whew glads it done! Now I just need to get exercising, I like the idea of a thread for that. It may help some like me who find it hard to find friends to help keep you going. I'm all for trying to lose 10-20 by Acen

Today, I got up at 6:45 am(thats what happens when you have a 2 year old) had coffee, then went to the chiropractor. Got adjusted. Had lunch, changed some diapers, made dinner (lemony chicken soup- from scratch) cleaned up after dinner. Will put the toddler down by 7:15pm, then clean up whatever he missed. Do more dishes, and maybe work on some crafty stuff.

But then that's most days for me.

Went to the Fabyan Japanese Garden in Genvea since they were suppose to be open from 1-3 according to thier site. Got there no dice, still took some photos from the outside looking in.

Went to see "Unknown", Wasn't too impressed. Glad I had the free movie pass.

Got my breakfast and lunch in order for tomorrow.
