Hey!
I thought it would be cool to have a little kandi kid/raver meet up at some point. Probably the night of the soap bubble, because I'm going to go ahead and make the assumption the most people will be dressed in their raver gear for that dance in particular.
If you're interested, it might be fun to meet each other and maybe trade kandi or something before splitting up or getting in line for the dance...I've never organized on of these things before so help me out and make suggestions!
So yeah, tell me if you are interested and we can make some concrete plans. Thanks!

Reason - Pictures! Bring your camera (or friends with cameras! xD) And to meet new people and trade kandi braclets (not necessary, but if you don't mind, I'd love to give y'all some kandi. Tell me if you want some?).
Date- Saturday (the 21st)
Time- That Evening at 9:30
Place- Front of the convention, near the fountain

I plan on wearing my best raving clothes to SoapBubble. So I will be around that Saturday night in my rave gear. I would like to take pictures of people in their rave outfits. It is pretty impossible to take pictures once everyone is inside the dance.

yeah, it is pretty hard to get pictures in there.
but for the past years ive worn my outfits here there and even giving fuzzy
bracelets to dollfies so their dollies can have leg warmers ^^

Aww, that's so cute! I wish I would have run into you when I was brining my dollfies to Acen

And yeah, I didn't mean I wanted to take pictures *at* the soapbubble, not only would it be hard to take pictures but we'd run the risk of blocking up the dance area, which would be no good. I meant just doing it that night around the time the line starts to form or a little before. But we don't have to do it then! I would prefer to do it either friday or Saturday night, but anytime is good really.

As for ACEN dances, I've been to them before, but I just walk around inside for a few minutes, take a few shots/video clips and then leave.

I don't know if candy anything is a good idea at a rave- one, putting candy on your body is begging for bacteria if someone sneezes- two, you're hot and sweaty at raves.... let's just say you'll turn that color if you sweat and have candy on you.

Best thing to do- go to the dollar store and buy some glow sticks. :3

Some group photos sound awesome. I guess I'm in. Don't know about place, but since you can't line up until 30 before the event, maybe this should happen an hour/hour and a half before the dance. That way, your outfits won't be too sweaty and nasty before getting in.

Woot! Good point Trini! I wasn't planning on standing in the ridiculous line this year.. I will be more than happy to change out of my cosplay early and get into the rave gear. ^-^

Good idea! So like 9-30 ish work work best for people? (Dance starts at 1030 right? xD) That makes sense to me, that way everyone will have the whole day to be in a separate cosplay if they wish. :3

If you want some inspiration, you can search for different rave stores and look at the stuff in their inventory just to get a general idea. :3

And yes, now the question is where...I guess we could meet in that lower hall area near where the line starts, but I don't want them to get mad at us thinking we're trying to line up early. Outside might be a bit cold...Hnn...I'm having trouble remembering all the spaces in the hotel so I'm defiantly open to suggestions!
