Y'all wouldn't last on the dallas highways. If you ever see Flaco on IRT, ask him about driving in Dallas. Such a hilarious story and so true.

If anyone knows the intersection of Cicero; any part of Cicero going south; the lights are set with cameras since it's heavy traffic due to the highway. Some people turn on them early mornings either to speed rocket home or they're literally drunk.

Oh and I almost hit a little girl in the parking lot of Jewel. She ran to the car like some idiot. When I parked, the woman said, "You could of hit her." I said, "I know. She shouldn't have been running around in the parking lot, sorry," then walked away.

Truth be told I should have. Baby making has been up since 1902.
Mighta been a time when I loved her too but you take that away, you always been the one.

And when people honk at you as soon as the light or arrow is green. My boyfriend dealt with that twice by the same person in less than 10 minutes. He was at one light, the light turned green and the lady behind him instantly honked her horn. Second light, the arrow turns green and the lady instantly honks her horn. Seriously, what is so important that you have to honk as soon as the light turns green? I've had it happen to me too. It's so annoying.

lolol, That would make me sit there for an extra 10 seconds.

Also I love when people fly around you because apparently you're going too slow but five minutes down the road you end up side by side at a red light. I can't help but always look over at them with a smug look on my face.

That's when these come into play. (slightly NSFW name to the site)
My tongue moved, a swung relaxing hinge.
I said to her, 'What will become of us?'
And as forgotten water in a well might shake
At an explosion under morning

Or a crack run up a gable,
She began to speak.

I LOVE THAT!!! XD

As much as I like motorcycles, I hate the idiots who make the good ones look bad. No, wearing a t-shirt, shorts, sandals and no helmet DOES NOT MAKE YOU LOOK COOL!!! It makes you look like an idiot and I will have no sympathies for anyone who gets hurt because they did not wear a single piece of protection. Over the summer when I ride on the back of my boyfriend's bike, I see groups of those idiots who don't wear anything and wear what I described earlier. No matter how hot it is or how "uncool" it makes you look, my boyfriend and I always wear our leather jackets, helmets, leather gloves, pants and boots. We rather be protected and sweating than not protected and dead.

Anyways, back to my point, those same idiots are usually the ones who fly down the highways/streets weaving in and out of people and putting others in danger.

Then there are the people who don't notice motorcycles. I was riding in a friend's car and my boyfriend was riding his bike and my boyfriend was about to exit the ramp, this truck (not a semi) almost clips the back of his bike because he was trying to get past him as my boyfriend was exiting.

I would post this video of an incident, but it was taken down. What happens is the bike comes to a stop at a stoplight and this woman doesn't stop soon enough and hits the bike, the guy flies off his bike and surprisingly lands on his feet. His bike is totaled, but the guy is ok. The only reason this got caught on tape was because he had a helmet cam for recording rides. I also believe she was also on her phone, but I can't say for certain because the video was taken down.

I agree with this :) Though I have a neighbor that parks that way to when we go somewhere together.. sigh.. She just got her car a few months ago a nice small economy car. I asked her why she was parking that way and she said there are to many dumb a@@ out there and couldn't stand the thought of someone dinging or scratching her new car. Luckily she does tend to park out in the boonies at least :) The walk does me good, lol. I'm just waiting for her to come over one day pouting cause some idiot finally did hit her car or something... You cant avoid them forever

Er...I don't have my license yet (no point when you live in the city and go to school in a small town where you can walk/ take the bus everywhere that's worth going...), but both of my parents park normally and their cars have NEVER gotten dinged or scratched from people parking on either side of them....

Doesn't mean it won't. I've lost a blinker light and my rear left bumper is scratched to hell, and someone knocked my driver mirror off. All seperate cases. And I live in a "small" town compared to Chitown.

I dinged a coworkers car once, and we were both parked perfectly fine. I was leaving work, and it was OBNOXIOUSLY windy that day. I tried my best to hold on to my door, but the one second I let go to keep myself from dropping my phone, a huge gust caught my door and swung it open. She STILL has a small dent in her door from it -- she won't take it in to get fixed, even though it's been almost 2 years. And I said I'd pay for it, too. o.O

Ok I have one that happened tonight!!!
So I went up to visit my mom, and on the way back home I ended up getting stuck behind this crazy person.
With most people they don't use a turn single at all. This person over used theirs!!!

I know you are asking how? Every time they went to change a lane, they would turn on their blinker, then see the car next to them, then flip the blinker to the other side, then back to the lane they wanted to go into, then back to the other side. Then both lights would flash. Then each blinker went on in turn once more.

It was like they could not get it right. And they were doing this on Southbound 355 and South I-55. They were nuts!!

It was worse when I passed them cause I kept seeing their hazards flash, and thought that something was wrong with my car. But it was just them and their crazy car.

I was really glad when they were no longer near me.

On my way to work yesterday, this guy was trying to turn left onto this road to go straight, but because the lane was backed up, he decided to turn into the turn lane and when the light turned green, he cut everyone off. I would not have let him go past me if I was at the front of the lane.

It was stupid because he and I were going the same way and I ended up catching up to him.

So on my way to work the other day I was driving in the middle of three lanes, on the highway, and all of a sudden the person in front of me keeps hitting their breaks. FOR NO REASON. There was nobody in front of them. I went to move over to the far left lane, but someone was going 80 and I didn't want to cut them off. And I couldn't go right because it's pretty packed. So he keeps slamming on his breaks. WHAT THE HECK. I'm going to get in an accident. Finally the guy on my left passes so I finally pass this moron.

Then on my way to get dinner before work I'm following behind this truck whom is making a right into the gas station. Cool whatever. But this idiot who was trying to make a left out of the station totally doesn't see me (remember, I drive a Jeep, I wasn't exactly obstructed) and flies out in front of me. Again, WHAT THE HECK.

Must have been "Almost Get in an Accident" Night.

Then again, it was a full moon. All the idiots come out on a full moon.

One day at work we had a semi truck take up three spots on our parking lot.

Three.

I never thought that was possible...

Anywho, I have a story. A few nights ago I was in a car accident. Very minor, no one was hurt, and the vehicles were not damaged (It's an old Mercury from the 90's. Thing is a tank). When my buddy got out to see if the other person was alright she made mention she was on the phone.

Oh yeah, that's the LAST thing you say in that situation. But since there was no harm done (I myself was just speechless) we went about our merry way and no cops were involved. However, at the next intersection the arsehole almost did the asame thing AGAIN.

Is there a driver who is at fault in Illinois? Minnesota is a No Fault state. Which is stupid, since as far as I am concerned it makes people worse at driving.

There is only one story I can really say in my experience driving. There is one road by my house out in Woodstock where there is a very sharp turn. The first stretch of road the speed limit is 50. For the very sharp turn the limit drops to about 20 and right after the turn goes back up to 50 again. So there is some old dude driving after the turn still going really slow like its still a 20 zone. I am getting rather peeved at him and I would have passed him up, but we were in a no passing zone. There was a guy in a pickup truck that was getting pissed at me and passed both of us, signs be damned. So eventually we get out of the no passing zone where the speed limit is most definitively 50 and this old dude was still going like 25. So I try to pass him up and then HE STARTS DRIVING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD SO I CANT PASS HIM. Crazy!

So I was in Carbondale, IL with my mom, right. As she drove out of the mall parking lot there, there was a 4 way intersection and the cars that were going left and right was their right-away. When the light turned red, almost everyone stopped. When it was green for us turn right, there was one car that just ZOOOMED in front of us, almost hitting us but ended up hitting the front part of another car. My mom and I's mouths dropped in shock. We were so scared that we almost got hit. I felt bad for the other driver who's car's front part was just totaled. SO...I hate people that drive really fast at a changing light. -__-

This weekend I was heading down Army Trail to get on 355 (heading from my bf's house to mine) and we're at a red light. I'm in the rightmost lane (there's 3 lanes there), second from the line. Suddenly the truck next to me starts LAYING on his horn. I'm going "dude what IS your issue? It's a RED LIGHT". The guy in front of him moves an inch and he squeezes in front of me (mind you, I do leave extra room ahead of me but not THAT much) to turn right. SERIOUSLY??? He should have thought of that before getting in the middle lane! He almost took off the front end of my car he was so dang impatient! I guess he's lucky he didn't, I'd have had him hog-tied and strangled with my scarf before the cops got there.

Also... when there is a LAYER OF ICE EVERYWHERE, what part of slow down is so difficult for people to comprehend??? *headdesk*

Was it a semi? He was probably cursing you out for being in the crush zone ans was trying to avoid turning you into a pancake. I had several close calls myself from people that don't realize trucks have to take turns wider, especially when pulling a trailer.

Nope. Just a jerk in a pickup truck that didn't think ahead.
