Thinking about offering free photograph services at con.
Would anyone be interested?

I thought this would be a good idea, I'd get to meet new
people, and get familiar with the con. area (This will be first con by the way n - n)

I'm a COMPLETE amateur though.
I'm not bad, I have a basic footing in photography, I already get down and crawl around
for those perfect angles. I'm a bit slower than most, I don't just click click click. I prefer manual zoom
over auto. Anyways, I just haven't taken a lot of pictures yet to be considered 'good' or at least to be
judged well enough.

I use a Canon Rebel K2 Film Camera~ I will bring my little digital camera which
i use for moment shots.
My buddy normally carries the little around and takes pictures
also with it, actual pictures and whats going on, catching those funny moments on
camera type of thing? u - u;; lol

Sounds like a good idea. I'm sure there will be people interested. Especially as we get closer to ACEN.

You will see a lot to photograph at ACEN. Just walk up to a cosplayer and say "may I take your photo" is the easiest way to get some photos. These days I go one step further and offer a business card with my website on it so they can easily find the photo I took of them after the convention.

Free photography services, but you are using Film? That sounds expensive... Although my last camera lens was $----, so I can't talk. All for the photography I guess.

What Cosplays will you be doing?
(If you want some pictures I will research a bit on your cosplay for poses and ect e-e )

And when would you being attending con? Any free time? or if you have photoshoot
time set for certain day?

Yup! I love helping people out and it gives me pictures because I don't get a lot of pictures taken so it's a win/win situation. XD

I have a lot of cosplays lined up, but I want pictures specifically of Keimi from One Piece (Time skip outfit) and/or Akari Hinomoto from Digimon Xros Wars. And researching on them is always helpful. I wouldn't want to do a photoshoot and just do random poses that don't fit the character.

I'll be attending Thursday - Sunday. I won't know if I have any set schedule til I know if any of the panels I am helping with are accepted or denied and when photoshoots are. I'm very flexible though. I usually just wander around the con. XD I can miss a photoshoot if I have to, but I can't miss a panel that I'm helping with. Once it gets closer to the con when photoshoot schedules are set and panelists know whether they have been accepted or denied and when their panels are, I will be able to tell you for sure.

I got about 20 4-packs of camera film for Christmas which will probably just sit around and dust till I can use u - u;
figured I mine as well use them and get some more experience with my camera.. so hey! why not at ACEN.

plus its just for my selfish-ness and love for my camera.. I would go digital but I don't feel you get
the same effect as film sometimes, lots of people could argue this, plus I just love the sound a
film camera makes and you have to get a bit more 'into it' i guess one could say... at least with mine.

Depending on if we get a hotel or not, I'll probably be there early saturday - sunday.
I'll probably just be roaming around con myself since its first time, I'll have lots of free time so it sounds good to me.

Then shall we have Keimi photographed? :3 I need to really catch up on One Piece. Good thing it's 3 1/2 months til the con. XD My boyfriend will be Sanji. Maybe he could be in a couple of shots. XD

Once the con gets closer, I will give you my cell number so we can contact each other at the con. This will be lots of fun.

I'll be in the Artist Alley Friday through Sunday, in costume Friday and Saturday, and would love to have my picture taken with a film camera.

I adore my Minolta XG1, but it's gotten too finicky lately to be good for a convention. Hmm, maybe I'll bring it this year just to run through some of the old film in my fridge before it discolors... *ponders*

Like Scott said, all ya gotta do is walk all over the place and ask someone for their picture. The majority of people cosplay intending to be recognized and photographed. I'd be up for that though for sure.

Sweet! You should if you have some old film laying around, you never know it might turn out pretty nice
