so out of boredom and what not i decided to asking the question of everyone here on forums. as seen above the question is what keeps you single? so what will be your answers?

i use to stay single because i...am to shy to ask girls out, and barely knew when one was interested.

Until they asked me out.

and now i'm married...i was hunted, and caught.

I don't get to go out much because I would always tell people that I have to go home to take care of my little brother who has Autism, so no one in my family has to worry about him. If I do need to go some where my family freaks out 'What to we do now?' My manager even joked that I am a 2 for 1 deal, marry me and you get my brother for free. Then again I'm not comfortable with boys since I lack experience being around them. This year will be my first time having a sleep over with boys at Acen, the first two years were girls only.

What keeps me single? Shyness, mainly. Plus the fact that I'm somewhat lacking in the looks department, so most people don't want to give me the time of day.

People are boring. That's why I've been single in the past. Everyone I've ever dated around a year with them I break up because they're no longer interesting. I can't be expected to be with someone/marry them if they bore me to tears. Love only goes so far.

But with my current boyfriend I've been with for over an year and he still amazes me everyday.

But I'm like that with fandom too. If it stops being fun and interesting I forget I like the series, lol. I guess it's just the way my brain works.

What keeps me single... would have to be trust. v.v;; Sour past experiences and encounters that have altered my views on dating.. I know it's a skewed and biased opinion, but I can't help but to think a guy always always always has some alterior motive when they show any interest in me..

Laziness essentially. For whatever reason I don't like being very social and I have to push myself to not be lazy and sit at home. This really doesn't help in finding dates. At times I wish I were just shy or had problems being social, but neither of those are true. It's simple really, I'd rather sit at home and read than go out and meet new people.

Well there are alot that I can think of but...

Girls in my area are kinda closed-minded. Most that are around view games and anime as childish. Also I know I'm too nice. Before there is a war about that, I've been told, by females, that I am too nice. (I will add, I'm not the passive nice type. I go out and ask out who I want to, and not just bellyache about "Ohhh I'm so nice why don't girls like me" when its the fact that they don't ask anyone out. With myself (since it's never a "It's always the other person." I HIGHLY believe that we are at fault as much as the others) I'm kinda cold and not very open for a while. It's takes a while to warm up. I'm also too much of a loner, and adding being cold at first doesn't really mesh well for being warm and friendly. (I'm working on that now tho. I'm trying to not be cold at the beginning)

But yeah, this is solid fact if you are desperate for a girl, it's always repels, yet if you leave her wanting, then you get her attention. lol

And stop it Ms. Liny. *angry face* You may feel that way, but those horde of guys sure don't. But I really...REALLY understand what you mean. I feel the same for myself to be honest. That is why I rather not like taking pics and all.

I think it's more how guys approach it. If they are too flirty and complimenting body parts every 5 seconds, women get turned off because it's shallow and annoying. Don't talk to female friends like you would a tramp at a bar. < Tip for all of the male folk out there.
