Exhibit Space (the people who bring you Artists' Alley / Art Show) is hiring!
Now you may ask "What is Exhibit Space?"
Well, Exhibit Space is a department in Anime Central that used to be two separate Departments. These two Departments were Artist Alley / Art Show & Exhibit Hall. One of our staff's main priority is to manage and maintain the Exhibit Space for the benefit of attendees, artists, vendors, etc...
That sounds interesting, what are we look looking for? / what are the requirements?
There are no formal requirements for applying for Exhibit Space, except that you must be 18 years of age before the convention.
That said - while no previous staffing experience is necessary, it will work in your favor if you know a bit about staffing a convention. We are looking for applicants with customer service experience who take direction well, can think quickly and work well as part of a team. Please be aware that this isn't a cake walk, but it isn't a triathlon either.
Basically: professionalism and the ability to work a total of 24 hours over the entire weekend is a must.

If you are chosen as an Exhibit Space Staffer you will have additional forms to complete, and you will be privy to everything else that makes Exhibit Space the one and only EXHIBIT SPACE.

If you are selected for staff, you cannot have an Artists' Alley table due to conflict of interest. But, you will be helping out fellow artists, get awesome benefits, and get to know you made a difference. (We do have fun too.) Some of us on staff were/are artists, including the Department Head and myself, which is why we're so committed to making Exhibit Space full of amazing.
