Hello Everyone, I am a little worried on Vanitas's suit. I am not 100% sure if his suit is made out of cloth or if it is armor just like the other 3, honestly... to me it looks like cloth but I would like the oppinion of others before I start to construct his suit. 1st Picture 2nd Picture

Looks like bio-armor. This basically means that no matter what it is made of, it's made to move like flesh. I'd definitely go with fabric--a soft, supple fashion-grade pleather or a stretch fabric for the form-fitting parts, and an upholstery-grade pleather, or you can build an understructure and cover it with the same fabric you use for the form-fitting parts. Fabric would be easier to dye than pleather, if you want to get that lovely color-fade effect.

I'm sure someone out there is going to suggest modding a bodysuit, and I can see that as an option, but I'm sick, so I'm not doing my best thinking at the moment, so I can't really give good advice about that...

However you choose to do it, it's a pretty cool-looking character. I hope you figure it out, so I can see it at ACen!

Thank you for the advice! Hopefully my friend comes a long, he will be the one wearing the suit. (We are forcing him to come a long and make him cosplay on his first one :), we are so horrible)

Not to double post but I was wondering how would I get his boots to be all poofy? Would I also use foam for the soles and leather for the upper boot part? I don't want to start something if it isn't going to look good. I like to make things look perfect lol...
