There are many more ACens to come but, you only get to cross that stage once. This shows that you stuck through those four years to complete High School and you shouldn't miss it for anything.
My best friend last year, graduated college AND worked as staff last year so it can be accomplished. This all depends if you are out of state, or in state. If you are in state, talk this over with family and friends to coordinate enough time for rest. Use the time you will be at ACen if you chose to go, as a celebration. If you are out of state, I am recommending that you stick at home for graduation.

I would hardly call this a major crisis though. Simply life and responsibility taking some hold. It happens.

If it was a college graduation...eh, it's not so much a big deal then. I skipped my MA ceremony and didn't miss much. (Let's see: keynote speaker droning on for three hours about how much he hated Bush; weenie roast; watching my professors get drunk. Yeah, I missed nothing.) But high school graduation is really important, especially to parents and relatives. Talking as a guy who travels 2300 miles one-way to ACen every year, you should skip ACen to graduate.
But like I said, if you live in Chicagoland, then it should be no prob to do both, which is awesome.

My mom graduated from college this past spring and a lot of people didn't show up. I'm glad she went though because this was so important to her and us.

Ukraine has breasts.
She has them in spades.
If South Korea and Ukraine were to hook up...
Then South Korea would never have a shortage of breasts ever again.

It seems like you already have your plans so I'm not 100% sure why you asked here. It seems to me like you want a validation for something whether it be this plan, skipping the graduation stuff in total or skipping Acen.
So here's what I want to say and it really will be an echo of what has been posted here already.
1 - if you didn't care about your graduation this wouldn't be a dilemna to you so I have to say, ignore what people are saying about how it is or isn't important because in the end those are just their opinions. ( i know personally, I would have missed acen for my graduation without too much thought. I would have been sad I missed it but as someone posted earlier: there will be more acens, a graduation from HS is a once in a lifetime event)
2 - Your plan about going to all the events is the best one I've heard so far. You can make everyone happy with this one. The only thing I would change is that I would skip going to the con on friday night. This is because (I assume) you'll be spending $165 on a hotel for one night. If you just go for Saturday you can get in lots of fun and almost all the main events. Plus you can spend Friday making sure that you have everything for Sunday set and ready so you're not rushed Saturday night or sunday morning.
In general, this situation isn't ideal but acen really is just about fun. I too have a similiar issue coming up in 2012. That will be the year I graduate college and since I started I planned to get a suite at acen for a treat to myself. However in 2012, acen falls in the middle of the year for me. (late april) I don't have a car of my own to get to the con from the out of state college I'm in and I don't plan on skipping classes or work . I basically have to chose to attend less of Acen to make all the work I did to get to my senior year worth it...
hope this helped

Just wait as you get older and grow-up other things will be more important then going to Acen. Your life should not revolve around any one thing to the point that it takes over. That includes families, and lovers, and maybe even kids(if you have them). Hell I retired from Acen staff this year so that I would not have the added stress while I was pregnant with twins. But I know that unless things go really really wrong there will always be another year or 12 of Acen cons to go to later in life.
I wish you good luck, and advise you to stop be so over dramatic in college if you go, as it won't get you far.

It's very stressful when events begin to overlap. Just keep a strict schedule and everything will be fine

remove the thread from the main seams of a pair of cloths
replace those with velcro
go to graduation
get inspected
pass inspection
when alone, state "lemme just WHIP this out"
remove clothes
go onstage
????
