For a cosplay from this series, I definitely recommend using a wig in order to achieve the "cartoony" look of their hairstyles. Real hair would just look bland next to the more extravagant colors of the female characters, plus you'll have a better chance of getting the volume for Brief's hairstyle with a wig than you would with real hair.


Anyway, Courtoon and I just wore our Panty & Stocking cosplays to Ohayocon last weekend! We had sooo much fun- now we're super pumped for doing our group at ACEN~!

Due to the popularity and nature of this series you guys would have an hour and you'd get the psuedo-privacy for your shoot. Just warning you all now though, please take caution and care of your costumes and photos as IRT will be around and things still have to remain PG-13 here.

Even if I don't get my costume done, would anyone object to me just coming and doing shots? My photography portfolio would love all of you!

I don't think anyone would really mind, I'm sure they would feel privileged that you want to take photos at the shoot ^^
Also, shoot time sounds good to me, as most of the costumes are a little more on the sexy side, so they should probably be worn later in the day anyway lol. I'm so excited to see all you guys ^^ If anyone has progress I'd love to see. I've gotten fabric for chuck, and I'm getting a pattern and fabric for panty this weekend

other than pg-13 i think it will be fine, for pg-13 we'd have to censor the name of the show

I've got my wig (just needs styling which is getting done tomorrow), shoes, fabric to make the dress, so all I need is Panty's jewelry. My bf got his brief wig and I'm almost done with his headphones. I'm drafting a pattern for my friend's garterbelt costume on wednesday, and we need to go get fabric for that. So much to do with so little time! Once I get some more done I'll post pics before the con for you guys

My group now officially has a Brief coming with us =] I'm going to be Stocking and have my light-up blade, Stripe with me made by Zerartul @ Deviantart.com and Panty is going to be a close friend of mine. Our Brief is actually her boyfriend xD So it's actually kind of perfect considering how Brief and Panty hooked up. We are doing Anarchy Version of Panty and Stocking and Brief will be the hazard suit version.

We will definitely send pics to Zerartul! =] Me too!!! Where did you buy your shoes from? I got mine on Ebay, they look EXACTLY like hers and are made by a company called "Montreal" based in Hong Kong xD Ironically.
