Reservations should be set for 8pm. We can all meet at the Hyatt before traveling over to the steakhouse if everyone wants to. Ant ideas on a place in the Hyatt to meet?

I think to avoid having to cross that busy street to many times my group will meet you in front of the steak place. We are all at the Embassy so its just a quick step next door for us There should be 5 of us and I can up my reservation number if someone wants to join our little group I usually just tell people to look for my husband he is 6ft 8in and big around hehe you can't miss him usually I look forward to seeing everyone there!

Also I was thinking maybe we all could say hi at the Meet & Greet Thursday if everyone will be going? That way we know who's who and all that

I think i come, why not, is there a menu online to see what they have, looking for something a little bit cheaper then steak.

Did the same thing but there are some pretty bomb things there but I'm going to have to sit this one out, I've already got a budget and that would cut it in ways I dont want to think about

Yeah, it's kinda of a high class restaurant.

Which means people that are going, do not wear cat ears, or cosplay or anything like that there.

Actually, I'm not sure if they would let you in dressed like that. o.o;

Whoever is going that is staying at the Hyatt can all meet up around the Hyatt front doors. Then we can meet up with everyone else at the steakhouse.

Also, I like Stormys idea of trying to meet everyone at the Thursday meet n greet.

Yep, but I actually live in West Jefferson now so just outside of Columbus these days We look forward to meeting everyone! My husband is going to be wearing his red/white striped shirt he said so just look for a big/fluffy 6'8" guy with me 5'7" fluffy gal not sure what shirt I'll have on though, If our friends tag along the black haired girl may be wearing a skirt with tail, then a short bald guy, and skinny brunette. I made it out to this, and boy was it good. One of the best steaks I've ever had. In the end we only had about 4 people come, but good times were had by all, and I got to watch my friend eat an entire head of brocolli along with his steak. Next year I want to try the potatoe skins. Yum!

Sounds awesome ...wish i could have been there ....the concert having that timeframe messaed up my night ...well the concert was awesome though.

Don't forget to include Stormy-chan and her group. A few people couldn't make it due to certain problems like Exezer. I think next year I may try to reserve a big table and see how that works. with almost a whole year to work with, I will try to iron out all the wrinkles.

Yes my whole group of 5 loved the steakhouse! If everyone can go to ACEN 2012 then we all agreed to go back that year also

Getting a big table for everyone would be a great idea Isamu That way we can talk and share appetizers! We tried the potato skins and they were very good, though I will have to admit I do like Max&Erma's skins better That ribeye was soooo good, but maybe next year I'll try the Filet Mignon lol

Also next year I really need to try to stop by FlyingElfs room gathering when I'm by the Hyatt. We always stay at the Embassy(love that breakfast buffet!!) so it is a small walk to get to the Hyatt. And it seemed all the panels I wanted to see were in the Hilton this year, hmm.

The casino down the street will have a chop house run by Gibson's. Any thoughts?

I honestly have only been to a casino a few times, though I do remember really big buffet at them for lunch or dinner. It sounds interesting, though I don't want to have to drive there really. I like that Gibson's is so close, though I would be for trying something in walking distance (how far is the casino?) or one of the places at Hyatt that I haven't tried yet. Gibson's has a decent amount of variety that I really would like to go back and try more stuff

Naw he does mean the one that's opeing in the rosemont area. Rondo made a topic about it.

As I already said I loved Gibsons. I would like to fin a place that makes some yummy pasta next year. I <3 pasta.
