so at the ACEN 2010 when i was walking around i saw different cyber goggles like these, and i bought some, but another vendor i saw was selling these LED lenses that you could replace the plastic lenses in the goggles with. they were full on LED, circuit board looking things with flashing lights and everything, and if i recall i think they were around $50 a piece.

i have been searching online but i have been unsuccessful in locating them, does anyone know if the vendor has a website you can order those off of, or any site where you can purchase them?

A lot of those vendors don't have websites - as they get enough demand for the product from the conventions they travel to. You also might want to wait so that you can be sure the lens will fit the goggles you bought - as they are all hand made and could vary in diameter and the way they fit in the mount.

If you're the DIY type - you can make your own http://www.instructa...ght-Up-Goggles/

Good luck!

i think i will do that, thanks for the push in the right direction. :-)

I think ill buy a switch, some LEDs, and cut up some old motherboard i have laying around and make an assembly to put inside the goggles.

Radio Shack used to carry a "prototyping" board that was essentially just full of holes for mounting components. However my friends and I have sometimes just used some scrap plastic or even cardboard. Just poked holes in the stuff where needed. Have yet to set fire to any of it with a soldering iron...

Yet...

There are several that sell the lenses Morlock Enterprises, Pawstar had some similar though not sure if they sell the lenses just by themselves, and Zombie Buddies has some similar as well. All three will be there.
