Hello to all tokusatsu fans, we had a small but dedicated group who came to the Saturday photo-shoot this past year, and hopefully we can match or even get a few more toku-cosplayers to come for 2011.

Any interest, and who are you planning to be? I'm perhaps bringing my Phillip cosplay, and will have a new Takaoka Eiji cosplay as well. ^_^

If I can make it to ACen 2011 then eff yeah I'll be there! I probably will be cosplaying as Sokichi Narumi from kamen Rider W or shotaro from...kamen rider W XD...he would probably be the lost driver version >.>

If I get the chance to, I will try to do Healing Princess Wakana-chan or Akiko from W. I wanna prance around with an eviction notice for all the Shos out there, along with a green slipper. XD My mind might change after I watch a few other series.

Yay, good to know we have interest in the gathering. I plan to submit the gathering idea when it is opened.

But any preferences for areas to gather? This past year we were just about under the gopher-tunnels across from the Hyatt, but is there a place like one of the grassy areas or somewhere else to gather? I think perhaps just like an hour or so, depending on how many people come.

The tree patch might be a good place for us!

I'm getting further into W and Yukie may be on my list of possible W cosplays. I need to watch more series to figure out who else I might cosplay as. Though I think I'm set on Akiko.

Well, now that the submission times are open, when shall we have the photo-shoot? As well as where?

As I mentioned before, last year's time and location was Saturday afternoon about 3pm under the hamster tubes over the road, but shall we have it at a different place? I think I'll try to keep Saturday since that's the day most people will be at the con and cosplaying, that a good idea as well?

Hope to hear from people soon so I can submit it, ne? ^_^

So many ideas, so little time! At Ohayocon, I was Nogami Ryotaro. I have the Accel Driver, but need to find red leather to do it right, and there are atleast 5 OOO cosplays I want to do as of now (Hino Eiji, Anhk, Dr. Maki, Kazari human, Date). And I'm just getting started......

Yay, good to know we have interest for the Toku-photoshoot, :thumbup: but how does everyone feel about Saturday afternoon? morning? And where should we have it, grassy area? by one of the garage doors? I think we have a few weeks to get it in, but with so many others submitting probley so much, I dunno what may be left for us :unsure:

I think the east outdoor wall is a very nice spot. The Johnny's Entertainment gathering was held there last year Saturday evening. It's pretty wide and out of the way with low traffic. We have some bushes and flowers for nice backgrounds. :P I'm sure we could use those flagpoles for some pictures. And if someone wanted to try blowing up some cars for some reason (with CG of course) there's a parking lot right next to it. xD

How many of us wants to try to go to the masquerade? As for me, Friday or Saturday, anytime is awesome.

I'm trying to find pictures of Wakana-chan, but there aren't many good ones. I want to do a cute outfit that suits her "Healing Princess" image.

So we have two locations so far, the grassy area or the east outdoor wall? Shall we say 2 or 3pm for the Photoshoot?

If anyone has problems with the area or time(I don't know the schedule of _anything_ yet but I do want to set a time), please speak now or list a place. We can't have it if no one posts or agrees, according to the submission post... :unsure:

Yay, I've been notifed that the Tokusatsu photoshoot has been scheduled for 2:30pm Saturday afternoon at the East Landing Doors which, if I'm correct in remembering, was the site of last year's toku-photoshoot east outdoor of the Hyatt.

Wow, I didn't expect the thread to have started this early.

I was Kirihiko last year and I'll be returning this year. Not sure who I'll be bringing to the photoshoot (most likely Ankh), but I will definitely be there. I'm also free for being kidnapped the rest of the weekend if anyone wants pictures. Costume list is in my signature. ^_^

*squees a bit* Kaizoku Sentai! Finally there are cosplays of it! Yussssss! Now I have a question for you all. I have these figures from an old show, and I'm trying to figure out the title. it was shown in 90's america. The figure is of an ultraman like character, gold base, with orange buggy eyes and half the torso red and half blue. He has a giant shoulder misslepod cannon thing. Any ideas what it's from? I know it Isn't beetleborgs, but it's from that era.

Ah, looks like there is a change of location for our Toku-photoshoot, we're now over at the east outdoor wall which is spot II on this map - Photoshoot locations

I considered doing a very last minute Cid Bamick, but I'm not sure I could pull it off that quick. <_<
