I've come to realize I do a lot activities, gestures or say words that don't exactly make sense to the common person. In fact they raise eyebrows and even cause hysterical laughter. I know I'm not alone on this, or at least I hope so.

I hope my little story below that I posted on a social media site gets a laugh to someone having a bad day and perhaps you can share yours as well:


"Now I realize why I was so wired last time I had Starbucks instant coffee. I did [coffee + instant coffee] and not [instant coffee + hot water]". I was so wired I was shaking at work, I just thought it was because it has been several weeks since I had caffeine. Nope I was just a genius just doubled up on it. Go me.

Go ahead and laugh I know I did.

Sometimes when I'm on my cellphone I will be like, "Where is my phone?" and then I facepalm because I realize I'm talking on my cell. XDDD

There are times where I blindy grab for my glasses in the morning, and instead grab my sunglasses and then freak out thinking I was going blind. Happened more then once... moved the sunglasses else where x3

I never fail to wave "goodbye" when talking to people on the phone ;, mostly because I am so vividly picturing that I am actually talking to that person's face.

I do this as well. Even going so far as to ask the person I'm talking to where the hell I put my cellphone.

Well, I left my toolbox on a bus today. There goes $150 worth of tools. Does that count as scatter brained?

The only one coming to mind was when I was a kid in North Dakota. I wear glasses, and if you've worn glasses in the winter you know that when the material of glasses gets cold it makes your face feel even colder (or maybe it's just me?), so I typically moved my glasses to the top of my head. Alternatively, sometimes I would just hold them in my hand. When about to get off the bus, I looked around and everything was blurry so obviously I wasn't wearing them anymore. I thought that I had held them in my hands, so I was freaking out thinking I lost them. I asked the bus driver to help me look, and after searching for a while he just says, "Well, what do they look like? Are they like the ones on your head?" ".... Yeah, exactly.. I'll just be going now."
