So what is everyone doing on Halloween? Going to a party, dressing up, work, trick-or-treating, lighting that awesome pumpkin you carved, or just chillin' at home?

Any good suggestions for good horror movies to watch on Halloween?

Watch Hellraiser/Evildead movies.

For halloween I'm most likely going to crash a halloween party wearing my Halo EVA armor.

either that, or do creepy things somewhere

We have a big blow out costume party at my university, so my friends and I are going to that. Then we're going trick or treating on Halloween, then eat tons of candy after. XD

For creepy movies... The Human Centipede sorta wins. DON'T WATCH ALONE! Ugh. I'm getting sick thinking of it! Audition is a Japanese torture film... also very sick. OR Nightmare before Christmas. I've made it a ritual to watch that movie every year on Halloween and Christmas.

On a celebration note. There's a rave for Halloween that I'm going to and my friend is having a party on the 30th. As of now that's all I got. Lots of dancing and lots of candy. It was how Halloween was meant to be. ^^

LolEvildead. I love those movies, but I'm thinking something not so well known. I'm a fan, but my friends aren't. I'm trying to find movies that everyone could enjoy. Shaun of the Dead is great, but everyones seen that movie way too many times.

@GITS- Sweet! That sounds like it'll be tons of fun! I have to work until 7pm but I get to wear a costume and mine was approved lol (Zombie). I'll scare so many children. <3 After that I have to run to a handful of parties I was invited to and then chillin out later at my own movie party. I'm thinking about making treats for the guests. They bring the booze, I make the pumpkin cupcakes/muffins ^.^

Oooo I've never heard of the Human Centipede! That sounds interesting! I've seen Audition and other Takashi Miike movies...Sick indeed, but interesting. With Nightmare Before Christmas, I only watch it around Christmas. All that snow and winter gives me chills thinking about it now. >.<

I'll be at Youma for most of the day and be driving home part of the day. No idea what I'm gonna do when I get home though. A new episode of Venture Bros. will be out that night so I will probably watch that. :D

Human Centipede is awesome but really creepy. As a centipede enthusiast, I was even taken back like "oh, my god....this, is very...bleh!" XD I don't think my friends have the guts to watch it, as they hate bugs all together. XD

If you want to watch a pretty good 1950s B-Movie horror, you can watch "THEM!" Giant Ants eating people for the win! xD

There's going to be a party, though drunk people are annoying when they talk to you about the same thing more than thrice. I guess that's the cost of going to one - being reminded how cool your dad is or how you managed to do so&so. Plus I like seeing people sloppily fall and try to play it off as if no one will remember and/or no one saw.
Mighta been a time when I loved her too but you take that away, you always been the one.

hmmm well considering that i left all my cosplays back in chicago, i guess i can't really cosplay on halloween this year... >____>

with that being said, it'll be pretty interesting to see who's gonna parade around campus in a costume (not that people don't do that already...i saw someone randomly cosplaying as luffy from one piece the other day...)xD

but yeah, me and my roommate are gonna hand out candy to underprivileged kids in the area cuz trick-or-treating at the residential halls is the only safe place for them ^^

Will probably just hand out the candy I bought (that I haven't already eaten) to whatever shows up at my door. Don't get many.

Debating if I will volunteer for local Park District gathering. Already passed on going to HalloWeem.

Lets see, this weekend I might go to Boo at the Zoo, with my almost 2 year old son.
Then next Saturday they have the last farmers Market in Ottawa, with trick or treating.
Then on Halloween I plan to go over by my mother's and trick or treat with my son there.

Last year I did not get any trick or treaters at my house. But I might put out a bowl with candy just in case.

A friend and I are dressing up as Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn, though I'm not sure where we will be going. If all goes well, I'll be helping my friends with an elaborate gelatin related prank. If all goes poorly though, I'll probably just try and find the time to watch Evil Dead II.

As far as suggestions go, all I can think of is Dog Soldier and Frontiers.
