from the same people that brought us the 1/1 scale RX-78 Gundam, it is an exact replica of how Amuro's core fighter looked at the end of the series.

The Gundam has been there for a long time, or is that a new one? I don't remember it having a beam saber...

The Gundam is the original one, that was moved to its present location shortly after it was built. The Beam Saber was added after it was moved so it is a newish addition.

I don't think they should stop until they make a real functioning one (minus the weapons of course).
