Howdy folks, I'm here to throw this out there, and ask if there's going to be any .Hack// cosplayers around for 2011? I know they're older series but why not? I'd recently gotten into Roots after all this time, and Atoli seems to stick out as someone I'd like to do, so, anyone else for the coming convention? C'mon, don't let "The World" vanish!

Been trying to talk my friend into doing a couple .hack cosplays together. If I succeed, I'll be making a Tsukasa and she'll be making Mimiru from SIGN.

I am going as kite and maybe elk. I had knives make me a data drain bracelet. I need a little help on his blades. Can not seem to make a good template for them.

Going as Alkaid. In the new xth form from .hack//LINK, since I enjoy making my life difficult.

With some friends as Geist and Klarinette, as well as maybe someone with Subaru's x form, also from Link.

The gathering was so much fun last year that I had to go again!

And if I can find someone to wear Natsume from G.U., then that costume will be coming as well.

Actually, Cartwight might be the Alkaid. XD Were you Natsume last year? I believe I roomed with you at Youmacon 2010, actually.

It may be an older series, as it has been around for a while. But with the release of the newest and final game in the series .hack//LINK for the PSP as of last year, there is fresh breath in the lungs of Dot Hack! As was already mentioned, we are coming as a group of awesome filled with the //LINK versions of characters, and //LINK specific charcters. We will be there as: Cubia (Human version from .hack//XXXX as represented in //LINK), Klarinette (LINK), Geist (LINK), Subaru (version from //LINK), and Alkaid (Xth from from //LINK). So with us, there will be at least 5, and then however many of you are out there. Bring our fanbase to life!

Thats awesome! My friend brought Sora last year, other than her i haven't seen a Sora cosplayed at ACen before, and YAY for another //sign cosplay!

It had improved over time as well. Though I may be too lazy to bring him. As far as Dot Hack goes this ACEN I will be wearing Geist from .hack//LINK. So look for a blob of fire-engine-red and some scarves, and you will find me.

I'm working on Tsukasa now and I'll be debuting him at Acen I should have a Mimiru with me and there's a good chance I may have a Sora and BT as well.

Will there be a photoshoot? The deadline to submit is March 25th

I hope there is. I'm not sure if they are setting one up. But even if they don't, we can always arrange our own unofficial photoshoot. That won't be hard if we just gather at a certain time. Dot Hack costumes stand out, people would find us on their own.

That would work too. Although I would maybe find an official photo shoot preferable so people that don't manage to find our thread still have the chance to know about it/attend. Either way works for me though because I do realize the more popular groups will probably trample on us anyway.
