Ok, even though they aren't able to add the meetup to their gatherings schedule, it sounds like we are set for...

Sunday, East Outdoor Wall at 12:30.
If it's supposed to rain: Move to the convention center next to the escalators (old spot).

12:30~1pm - Swap meet

If you have any clothes that you don't wear anymore, bring them along to trade with other Lolitas! YOU are responsible for keeping track of all of your items. There are restrooms inside the building for you to try garments on. Please use common sense when letting others try on your clothes! We have had no theft issues yet, but the meetup grows every year and we're in a new location this year.

1~1:30 - Picnic

Bring your own lunch or a snack to share. Please don't offer food to people who aren't part of the meetup as the Hyatt's policy forbids this. We might also play games during this time, so let me know if you have any suggestions!

Times (except the meetup start time) are approximate.

I can't think of any more details at the moment, but I'll post them if I can think of any!

I think most of the people coming will be wearing lolita as a fashion, but I don't mind seeing cosplayers as well since it's Acen after all

This is probably a really stupid question to ask, but for the lolita picknik and swapmeet, we dont need to register or sign up for it right? (im a total newbie aha ) because my fiend and I wanted to attend aha

Im not organizing it but I can say no you dont. If you follow the livejournal link above to the Acen lolita lj community there are posts there about the time of the meet up and then the information for the calling card game, but no, no need to sign up. I think the calling card game post is community locked so you'd have to join the com to see it.

And do you think I can bring others to the picnic? Because Im going to Acen with a group of friends (about 5 people) but not all of them are going to go as lolitas. Do you think they could tag along to the picnic? X)

You know I couldn't say myself, not my event to give free reign to. You could ask the organizer of the event.

Well, there will be a LOT of Lolitas at the meetup, so while I would normally say it's ok to bring your friends along, I'm worried about space and would rather everyone bring friends who are wearing Lolita, or INTERESTED in Lolita (As opposed to just following you in because you want to go.) Does that answer your question?

Also, guys, here's info for where to go in case it rains:

On Saturday night/Sunday morning, check the weather forecast and if there's any chance of rain, we'll meet at the old spot in the convention center next to the escalators. It's not that cozy, but it's familiar to everyone who's been going every year. I'll have someone stationed at the east outdoor wall (or I'll be there myself) to guide anyone who hasn't gone over there. If it's just supposed to be cloudy, we'll stay outside.

Thanks for the updated weather report. I was wondering what the possible plan change would be if it rained.
