Ok. So for my next one piece cosplay I want to do Mr. 3 Both his impel down outfit and baroque works outfit. I know that I'm gonna use some sort of wire frame for the 3 and then wrap hair extensions and such around it. But the small thing I'm coming across when i'm thinking on how to it is I have long hair which I'll have to put under a short hair wig then I'll have to attach the 3 to the wig. But I don't know the best way to attach the 3 and I'm worried about the wig since I have so much hair under it. (and no, I won't cut my hair. I can trim it down a bit but I can't cut it.)

Depending on how much hair you actualy have you may want to increase the wig size if posible. more space = less fuss. If its a sized wig, then find away to attach the bottom of the wig to your real hair. Keep in mind that with the 3 up top, you will have extra weight up top so it needs to be secure

You can extend the wire frame (I recommend heavy floral wire. It cuts easily and is very lightweight and sturdy) down to poke through the wig and use your head to kind of stop it/hold it in place..
You can also do the same, but attach and glue down the wire to a headband to support underneath the wig as well as hold your hair back underneath.
The thicker the wire, the easier it should hold up.. like this: http://www.cosplay.com/photo/2390631/
