I saw it the other day on Game Stop so I could not help myself. Anyone else preorder the collectors edition or the regular? If so why did you chose the version you did?

I am thinking about preordering the collectors edition, but I'm not much of a collector -- so ... I may just order the expansion alone, unless they have a boss mount in the collector's edition!

It comes with a Deathwing and some other neat stuff like an art book and soundtrack.

I got the collectors edition as I have ever since the BC one and only do it for the pet but I love hearing the soundtracks too.

what the gamestop around me did was at the SC2 midnight launch if you pre-order the expansion with at least $10 they would upgrade it when it was released because of what happened with the last collectors edition

they only sold the collectors edition for Wrath of the Lich King for a day

It is 79.99 too get the collector's edition and the regular is the standard 39.99, I found with the BC it sold out so fast I was lucky to get my hands on it. Wrath well that one my local GameStop told me they had over sold preorders and not enough were coming in so I ordered that online. Just to be safe this one was online too.

I used to know someone that worked at Game Stop he stopped working there after he graduated. Lucky you lol.

been in the beta and i can tell you guys that you are going to like it a lot. the worgen intro thing is a bit long but it is still good

lol all i really did was add 1gb of ram so i have 1.5gb of ram and everything else is crap. i mean come on my computer was made in 2005

Lucky all they did for me was grant me StarCraft 2 Beta and it was at a time that no one seemed to want to try it cause each attempt of mine to log in I found I was the sole person on so the multi person stuff could not occur.

Ive never played starcraft before the beta. I was into Warcraft, Myst, Final Fantasy, and Ever Quest. Wanted to try Guild Wars but they were windows only and Im on a Mac so why they gave me the StarCraft 2 beta instead of Warcraft is beyond me especially since I only selected to be a warcraft and diablo beta tester.

That's a shame that you can't play Guild Wars. Such a great MMO and Guild Wars 2 is coming out soon and that's definitely gonna give WoW a run for its money.

Several people at work keep saying that about Guild Wars but I love the no spyware/malware/virus and keylogger concepts of my mac and the graphics on my Macbook Pro make Warcraft perfect.

That's because no one wants to make viruses and that kind of stuff for Macs. Why make a virus for a Mac when a lot more people have PCs?

Anyways, you really should give it a try. Even if you have to use a friend's computer or even just take a look at the Guild Wars 2 website and take a look at how beautiful everything is. <3

I specified system snow leopard and 2.4 gHz Intel 2 Duo core 6 gb Mem and a couple other things besides the 500gb HD and still all they gave me was starcraft. I got a slightly customized mac.
