EMRT is looking for Illinois Licensed EMT-Basic or EMT-Paramedics and an individual for our dispatch team. Spots are limited and 911 experience is a plus but not required. If you are qualified and interested in a fast paced department, contact Joel Eastlund or Stephen Wise at emrt@acen.org.

What kind of experience is required for dispatch?

Strong communication and organizational skills. Must be able to attend our training class that will occur closer to the convention start time.

we are interviewing for all positions, we have spots for EMTs, Dispatchers and first aiders. What were you looking to do within our department?

I was hoping to get a spot as an EMT. I'm a certified EMT-B, and ive worked in EMS for over 2 years. Aside from licensure, what other qualities/requirements are you looking for?

We are looking for at least a year of experience and 911 experience is nice but not required. If you have a resume please email it to emrt-departmenthead@acen.org or PM me and we can set up an interview date.
