International Cosplay Day :D August 27th meet up!?!

Right. I did NOT see a meet up thread for this so I decided to make one.

It's International Cosplay Day [on Aug 27].

Date: Aug 27.
Time: 11:30-whatever time.
Place: The Bean, Millennium Park Chicago.

Cosplay: You can wear whatever you want.
Of course, cosplaying is recommended. .because, well
it's International Cosplay Day but casual cosplay is good. :D

Because of some events that occurred recently [like, a few months ago LOL]
please consider where we are and your clothing. That means that since we're at the Bean
where wedding pictures do take place, no guns, nothing like that.

Also, while I don't mind the whole swastika with Hellsing and the German hats for Germany cosplayers,
please understand that Heiling is not allowed and so on, so on. We don't want another
repeat of like, AB's whole BAM BAM thing.

P.S. It's kind of a gathering so to make it a bit more fun, we decided that everyone should bring
something like cookies, or chips. Snacks are good. xD Might as well be full while having fun, right?

I so wish I could attend! Lollapalooza took all my monies and class will start in 2 days ~_~ Hope it's a big turn out!!
ACen 2012: Thursday - ? Friday - ? Saturday - Iruka-sensei Sunday - ?
Hopefully cosplay will be a go this ACen!

sadly i'll be back in Kentucky for school on this though i'd love to go. Anyone know when the international cosplay day is next year?

ps- i might wear my neko ears if i remember as a way to show my support!

I won't be attending Acen 2012 due to school. Acen 2013 Cosplays remain a secret.

honestly, I see around 10-15? The thing is, news isn't getting around

since Aug 27 is a week or two away, there is enough time.

Hmm I may be able to go, just super depends on the day and if I can get anybody to go with me. Though I've got the weirdest schedule ever on internship right now and I'm only available Sunday-Tuesday but if I can 90% go I can ask for the day off.

I wish I could go! I have school and plans that night :( or else I would be there for sure!! Hope you get a great turn out!

but I will be cosplaying on my own that day for sure ;]

E don't know what to go as, my first cosplay or my last halloween cosplay.
