From the front page. We were really happy to have Yoshiki visit us at ACen, so we're hoping that some of that excitement continues on at Lollapalooza. This is their US debut, and it's not certain whether they'll continue touring the US after this. Depends on response and demand. If you want more X JAPAN in the US, show that the support is there.

Anime Central reminds everyone that Yoshiki and X JAPAN are playing Lollapalooza less than two weeks from now! They’ll make their US debut on August 8, 2010 at 4:00 PM on Lollapalooza’s Parkways stage.

Yoshiki made a surprise appearance at Anime Central’s masquerade event this year, debuting his video The History of YOSHIKI and X JAPAN and giving a special prize to the winner. He introduced his film over video chat, surprising the audience when problems with the chat forced him to finish the introduction live on stage. The response was overwhelming, as the entire room erupted in cheers.

Yoshiki and X JAPAN hope to see the same response at Lollapalooza.

Jrockrevolution.com also supports X JAPAN’s debut at Lollapalooza, presenting the Essential X Perience Exclusive fan package. The package includes a special X Perience T-shirt, a set of X JAPAN Thundersticks, an X Perience wristband, and more!

Recently, YOSHIKI and X JAPAN were covered in an LA Times cover story. The story details Yoshiki’s drive to bring X JAPAN to the American market.

Seriously, I'd like to support this, but i'm unemployed and cannot afford the $200 for a pass. That's a lot of money for being out on the heat with billions of drunk/high/unruly people just to see one band.

You can buy a Sunday only pass for $90. You don't have to buy a full weekend ticket.

Unfortunately Lolla is expensive especially for one act but if you were able to make it, it was incredible. Hopefully they'll tour through Chicago again?

All I can say about the concert was that it was worth gonig into debt for (yay credit cards). Yoshiki was smiling the entire time they were performing. And there were so many people in the crowd that (near us) were there only for Soundgarden afterwards and admitted that X was amazing. So hopefully this will help them get mainstream here and later on they are going to announce their American tour dates and the release date for their CD which will be mostly in English.

Oh I wish I could have been there, I was trying to save up money for it but I only could afford the yearly 12 dollar Arlington Million ticket again this year after the tuition loan payments and card bills. Does anyone have a list of any American Tour dates yet?
