Bengals sign TO

Holy fountains of Wayne. Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens in Cincinnati? On the same team? With their own reality shows?

This is either going to be the most awesome thing in football since Brett Favre couldn't make up his mind, or it's going to be the biggest disaster in football since...well, Brett Favre in last year's NFC Championship Game. Either way, it's going to be fun to watch. Much like a train wreck you can't look away from.

Carson Palmer supposedly pushed the Bengals to sign TO more than even Ochosilly did. Wow. He either knows something we don't or he's stomp down crazy. Hope he stocks up on plenty of Tylenol.

Well, in his defense TO does seem to behave and play nice in the first year with his new team. I think it'll be okay so long as they don't extend him (or at most give him 1-year contracts).

I was reading about this yesterday. I was surprised someone took him. I mean, even the Rams turned him down. It's only a one year, 2 million dollar contract.

At least the steelers get a new tackling dummy.

The Bengals are one of the only teams that made sense for TO. TO needs to go to a team that has a shot, has a veteran QB, and a coach who can handle him. The Bengals have all of that. Plus the Bengals need someone to take some heat off of Chad and another threat out there because they simply could not throw the ball well last year.

We'll see how this goes. The Bengals like to sign those players that nobody else wants and are potential problems. So maybe this blows up in their face, but I actually think its a good signing for them overall.

The Bengals are my favorite team, but I don't really get why they picked him up since they have more then able WRs. But in any case, the teams ego is not 200% full. In any case, at least they'll have a great WRing line up

You remember when the Browns won the Super Bowl? Only they were operating under the guise of the Baltimore Ravens.

There are concerns about Antonio Bryant being 100% after that knee injury, so they're hedging their bets. There's no salary cap, and Palmer and TO are only getting older (both are now on the wrong side of 30). If they're going to go for it, might as well be this year.

Hey.. The Browns were the world champs way back in the day.

Yeah I guess you're right. Sadly it's usually a "What have you done recently" type of world.
But what we call the Browns now are a true representation of what they are.
