Hey everyone! Since I have a second friend coming along, we've decided to do a mini Homestuck group! c:
I'll be cosplaying Feferi with my friends as Nepeta and Terezi. Glub, glub! 38D

Wee, I'm also excited to see that more Homestuck cosplayers are posting! Originally I had planned to come to the photoshoot just as a photographer, but if all goes well my friends and I will be doing all three god tiers and possibly a Sollux as well! It's kind of last minute, so I'm not sure if we'll be able to get everything together in time. Either way, I am very excited!

Yep! Both times are final, and if you look, the columns represent the meeting space, meaning that we are at the right loading docks on Friday and the Treepatch on Saturday. You can find a map and some pictures of these areas right here, http://www.acen.org/...f-to-know-2011/

Hey, I have a question. What makeup is everyone getting? I've been looking at that huge makeup tutorial on the MSPA forums, but I haven't been able to find the exact products that she listed there. Any suggestions?

i'm getting my makeup from amazon. Ben Nye brand. dont remember how much. probably not the best of dealers for makeup, but i'm kinda in a bind.

I got my makeup from here. While they don't have the "slate gray" the tutorial calls for, I'm assuming that the "steel gray" or "coal gray" they do have is a reasonable substitute. They ship really quickly (It took maybe 3 days to get my stuff, not counting weekends), so depending where you are, you'll probably get stuff in a week at latest. However, they'll give you a 10 dollar "fine" I guess if you don't get above their 20 dollar minimum purchase, so you may want to pick up one of their 2 ounce bottles of final seal.

I followed this tutorial along with me messing around with blue make up and a fake eyelash and got these results today. I did some things wrong but regardless I like how it turned out.

Since there's two meetups/photoshoots, my friends and I were thinking about being some version of John (either his Normal, Wise Suit, or Vriska outfit), Jade in her Squiddles outfit, and Karkat on Friday then our Feferi, Nepeta, and Terezi cosplays on Saturday. 38)

I originally wasn't planning on cosplaying for both meetups but I think I am now! Still doing the long shirt and jeans version of Dave (with difficult-to-see-iShade logos), but I want to put together a Sis Strider (the female version of Bro, basically, if anyone's familiar with Mixt's fanart). I don't know which costume I'll end up wearing on what day if I complete Sis in time, but I'll be with a "classic" Jade on at least one of those days.

Add another cosplayer onto the group. I don't know if I'll be doing the cosplay for two days, but I'll show up on Saturday at least. I'm going as Terezi, in the costume I tested last Halloween, but with a few finishing touches. Glad to see I won't be the only crazy troll running around.

Hey guys! BD I'm getting super giddy as Acen gets closer. My Karkat cosplay is pretty much done. Sadly I won't have any props [but if there's any Gamzees who would like a juggling partner I'm game~], but on Sunday I'll be going as a crossdressing Karkat. I'm so excited for Saturday. And apparently we're meeting at the tree path--where is that exactly again? Is that that little enclosure with the fountain in the middle and next to some cafeteria thing?

I don't actually know what the place looks like, since I've never been to a cosplay meetup myself, but there is a survival map linked here that shows all the meetup locations. Hopefully this should help. :3

Hey guys! I got roped into some super last minute Homestuck cosplay, it seems. So I'll be coming along as Sis Strider (as I'm far too busty to bind and be Bro). Some friends of mine are also going to be doing Homestuck cosplay. I've got a fem!Tavros, a John, and a fem!Dave (IIRC). The John also plans on doing Karkat one day and I think the fem!Tavros has something else planned, too.
