So tomorrow I'm going to go see Foreigner, Styx, and Kansas in concert. Sooooo excited to see these amazing bands. I love going to concerts, as they are always so much fun, even if I can never find a t-shirt long enough for someone nearly 7ft tall =(. At least I have a nice collection of hats from previous concerts, such as Van Halen, Journey, Def Leppard, Nickleback, and Rush (I have a few more just can't remember which band I bought the hat for at the concerts XD).

While on the subject, anyone else been to any good concerts lately?

Does seeing Genesis two years ago count? Because if it does then yes. And I loved every. Single. Minute.

I was invited to SummerFest on Monday the 28th to go for free. Right now I am fighting with myself...

There are some decent bands playing, but no one I am really interested in hearing. BUT for me its a free concert to go to.

Sadly I hate dealing with large crowds of people, big reason I only do one Con a year ( That and low low finances ).

So do I stay or do I go?

I just got back day before yesterday from seeing Miyavi concert!
It was Awesome!!! So much fun! Had the best time ever! :happydance:
Never had any fun at a concert before Miyavi and I been to alot! Friends or older sister always dragged me to them.

Have fun at the concert! :thumbup:

Amen to that. *pout* I'd kill to see just ONE of any of those bands rattled off, let alone all of them.

And while I haven't been to any concerts lately (can't even remember the last one I went to, to be honest), I will be seeing Christopher Titus doing stand-up tomorrow night...if that even counts.

I haven't been to a concert in a while, unless you count Aural Vampire (which was very good). The last American act I saw was Carrie Underwood, two years ago at the Indiana State Fair. She was excellent :) (and I also bought a tour t-shirt from a vendor).

I saw Kansas a few years ago when they came to Frontier Days. YAY for free concerts! I also saw Dennis DeYoung when he was at Frontier Days last year and he is going to be there this weekend. I wish I could see all of Styx though.

Oh my God... I just got home from the concert... So amazing. I'm so glad that I got to see these amazing bands, and got to hear all my favorite songs. This included lengthened version of Carry on my Wayward Son and Jukebox Hero.

I certainly wouldn't admit to going to a Nickleback concert.


But I haven't been to a concert really in a long time...not counting those at conventions of course.
