Due to unforseen circumstances, I will NOT be cosplaying this year.

i'd say do it and just be ready for the questions. if you can pull it off to make her super memorable then people will for sure want to check out the anime at least just to see her character.
considering i only saw 2 pics of her that were just of her face i had to look at some of the anime to at least get an idea of what she looked like in full. also i would love to see you with hair that short and that colour, even if its just a wig.

I actually wanted to cosplay Hei for 2010, but with work and school (and other things happening in my life) I found no time to make his costume. I have a lot of the materials gathered, but not finished. I was costume-less for 2010. I don't plan on it happening again for 2011.

Haha I will be prepared for questions no matter what. I hate short hair on me. I think it makes me look rounder than I am. Hopefully I'll be able to find a wig that color. I find alot of light purple but not so much silvery purple....

That is the one thing that stinks about DtB. A lot of characters don't last for very long. It's OK; ve prepared for questions. You should have seen the crazy amount of questions I got for Ergo Proxy in 2009.

Yes, that's why I want to try and do Yin. More people will recognize her. Plus, I just like her better.

Ahh, if I saw a Bertha I'd be so happy! :0 She was one of my favorite characters, even though she only lasted 2 episodes. I tried to get my friend to cosplay her last year but she refused lol. Although Yin would also be cool, so whichever you decide is good. I agree Yin would probably be more recognizable, but I also feel like most people who have watched DtB would probably recognize Bertha too since she was a fairly memorable character.

I'll be doing Yin. I kind of finished my costume last year but rushed it, so I ended up not wearing it because I wasn't too happy with it.... It's basically done though, besides a few improvements and fixes I want to do this summer.

Still another series that I would love to cosplay from. I have a Kiko costume in my closet, but no wig for it since I haven't got around to cosplaying her. I also really want to cosplay Suou from season 2..... but she's not on the top of my list yet. I'm just happy that this series is finally getting recognized in the cosplay world!

I think it would be great if you were either Bertha or Yin. They are both fascinating characters with distinctive looks.

Right now I'm working on a Yin, but I'm still not sure if I'll actually be able to wear it since I'm not sure if I'll be at next year's ACen.

If u r talking about how to set up a shoot, when it gets closer to the con they will set up a link on the form usually call official gathering or something like that, and then u just summit a reply saying the day and time

Last year, we did it at the north side of the center, across from the entrance to the Hyatt, by the loading bays, and that was kind of like the settig of the show, so I think that would be an alright spot. As opposed to a place with a lot of trees and nature and things.

Just so everyone knows, I will not be doing my cosplay as planned this year. My group seems to have disbanded and I dont have a lot of money anyways. Ill update the directory as well.
