Just got back from it. Loved every minute of it! Word is that Pixar's making a Toy Story short to put in front of Cars 2. I haven't even seen the first one. :/ Anyway, I pulled these guys out xD

I just saw it today in 3D with Jamie and the in-laws. And not only did I cry at the end (because I'm a sentimental sap), but I squealed inside whenever Bonnie came onscreen.

Why? Because I swear on all that is holy, she looks exactly like my little 1 1/2 year old cousin Blu...and I'm pretty certain that in a few years, Blu will act the same way. Which made the ending that much more poignant for me, because I could almost swear I was watching an older version of my baby cousin.

All in all, I really, truly enjoyed the movie~ Especially the scenes involving Ken. I was laughing so hard I was in tears watching the modeling scene, because I was reminded of my childhood, and...well, playing with my own Barbie and Ken dolls. ^^

Oh FYI, for those of you who have Up on DVD or Blu-ray. Lots-o'-Huggin'-Bear is found in the scene when Carl first takes off in his balloon house. I shan't spoil it for you... go find him!

Just saw it today, the movie was awesome. Defintely one of my more liked movies of the year. Very well done, with a few nods at people who remember Toy Story 1 and 2.

Here's a question for the crusty oldbies like myself.

Was anybody else reminded of Teddy Ruxpin when Lotsa Huggin Bear came in? You know, all nice and all play, but god only knows what horrors lie beneath that cheerful, pleasant facade?

DONT ANYBODY SPOIL THIS. But I feel like Lotsa Huggin Bear is going to be the villain, much like how the Prospector was in two.

Huh. I didn't see Sid's cameo. However, I did notice

. Yeah, a lot of spoilers there, but that's because there are so many interesting surprises. I also appreciated the references to earlier films, and the animation was outstanding (even though I didn't see it in 3-D).

Loved Toy Story 3. The ending was sad, but it was done in a way to close the series. Overall, great movie!

In addition to Sid, there are many hidden easter Eggs and in jokes. The same ones you expect from Pixar now. Anyone catch the number on the train? 95 is the number from Cars, but lets ignore that. Cars was a terrible movie, Pixar's only bad movie. More importantly, it's the year Toy Story came out.

In Andy's room, on his board is a college flag that says "PU" on it. PU is for Pixar University. And if you notice you could make out a post card from Carl and Elle in Up. Tons of hidden easter eggs. Monsters Inc came on not too long ago on cable and when Boo gave the monster a fish, it was actually Nemo from Finding Nemo. I wonder what the next pixar movie is and who was the new character in TS3.

Saw it last week in 3D on the IMAX screen. Loved it. Will be pumped for a short before Cars. Sounds like a perfect way to get people in to watch next year's movie.

ps - also a test using these new boards, finally.
