Just out of curiosity, have they patched a lot of the multiplayer bugs yet? I haven't booted it up in a while, but it was frustrating to continually try to play with 3-4 players only to have the game continually crash and freeze. Its a shame, because as I stated before, it really is a great game.

i think they said the dlc will fix most of the bugs, but it's a 'mileage may vary' thing. i've only played with 3-4 people and it glitched one time out of at least 20 playthroughs.

Wow, I wonder whats with the variance then. I've done all different types of players and games. Solo I'm usually good. 2 players I've glitched a couple times. 3 players I will probably get through a level before it glitches. 4 players I'm lucky to get much past the halfway point before a glitch of some sort.

There's Knives and Mr/Mrs. Chau (only need to beat Mr. Chau), that's it.

Gideon is actually pretty easy if you have your STR and SPD boosted and have the weapon special where you swing it rapidly (forgot which level that one is). If you want to be cheap, you can use the Power of Love cheat to make it easier but even without it, you just need to know his patterns. Also make sure you at least have a snack like an Energy Tank or Ginkgo Biloba.

1st form: He's just annoying, again if you have a weapon like a bat or baton from the elevator, he's not that bad. If you can get him in to the edge of the screen and spam the weapon attack, you can juggle him once or twice. Run away so he doesn't hit you getting up. Make sure you avoid his form when he's flashing white, just move up and down the screen as you run away from him to avoid his dash attack and wait for him to stop flashing white. When he flies up to drop meteors, the first time it's a little difficult to avoid but if you get knocked down, stay down (don't use a recovery jump to get up early). When he's weak, he'll only drop a big meteor generally from where he was knocked down.

2nd form: I found that if you stay just a short distance away (to avoid getting shocked) towards the middle/lower part of the screen, you can spam the Power of Love all day long. When he changes and moves around, get a little closer (not too close to the edge or you'll get pounded), start spamming away again.

3rd form: Just a very basic fight, just make sure you keep the distance close and move up and down as you approach him so you don't get hit by his long distance attacks. He seldom used most of his close range attacks on me on any difficulty, so I tended to jump kick him and then combo him knocking him back up. If you have a weapon, again you can use this to juggle him at the edge of the screen (but he has a stand-up attack so be careful).

It's gotten to the point where I can pretty much not get hit when I fight him, just keep at it. Stock up on extra lives from fighting Todd Ingram if you're short on cash (or use No Account Video).

Thnx got thru him the first time with some trouble but after that no problem, i have knives and Mr Chau, trying to get the achievement, does that mean i have to play thru everyone to get that one. Yea it all seems that once you get the pattern down all of them are easy,

Nah just summon them and as long as you summon (randomly) all the Chau's, you'll get the achievement. You only have to fight Mr. Chau once for him to be unlocked for everyone.

Tnx got all of them but the heal 25 times have to wait till friends come over

You can just do that with two controllers.
One beats up the other guy then revives them. Repeat.
It will go faster in one character is maxed out.

Please...please...get the achievement while playing the game normally with a friend. If you're that concerned to get it, let it be during a time of fun an excitement rather than actually working for it. Sorry, but The Only Thing I Know is echoing in my head when I read this. *shiver*

I think I should make it official. Saving some cash away so I can finally get the soundtrack to this game. Of course, this will be in conjunction with me getting an iPod cable and radio adapter so that I can listen to what I like whenever I like in my car. Awesome times ahead...getting giddy over it.

Tomb Raider and the Guardian of Light (get it, it's a really good/fun game) is gonna release a online co-op DLC soon.

There's still hope for Scott Pilgrim.
Should keep it fresh since I pretty much pwned the game.
