I know there isn't really a good section for this, but i HAVE to say i want to thank a TON of con-goers this year for being amazing and easy to deal with and i wanted to share a quick story.

It's Friday, Mid-shift, I'm sitting at the prop check and a gentleman comes up to me in a "Blu Sniper" cosplay from Team Fortress 2, while his gun was obviously not working and fake looking, it still required an orange tip, so i informed him that it needed an orange tip because it wasn't clear. i told him i didn't care how, or what he had to do, as long as there was an orange tip I'd be happy. he said "cool!" and strolled off.

Now I'm picturing him coming back with some orange paper taped to the barrel, or maybe he went to the dealer hall and got an orange tip from a vendor, or hell, maybe he found some orange tape, What i saw when he returned made my con though.

30 minutes later he came back with none of the above...instead on the end of his barrel was...A whole frickin' orange! as in the fruit! stuck more then half way through the core.

i couldn't help but smile and laugh, i called my upper management over to give it an official Yes or no, and he had the same reaction as me, we let him go on sheer creativity but i still can't forget that moment and it was one of my top 10 con moments.

I'd also like to send out my thanks. This was my first year on IRT, and while the lines/crowds were daunting at times, I can honestly say you were WONDERFUL. The Megatokyo and Your Favorite Anime Sucks Lines? You were all so cooperative, and so great to work with, it absolutely made my day.

But I have to say the best folks were the ones I encountered in the Soap Bubble line. I was the girl at the end of the block-line to the Soap Bubble, right next to the outside doors where the line was entering. Even though I was doing my best to stay calm, cool, and collected, apparently some stress was beginning to show...I know this because there were quite a few of you coming in from outside who came right up to me and said something along the lines of, "You look like you need a hug, here's a hug!" I lost count how many hugs I got just by virtue of being in that spot, but I want you all to know that those hugs? Those helped more than you will ever know. With every hug I got, my stress got knocked down to a sliver, and it helped me feel so appreciated!

So to these wonderful and gracious folks, you have my thanks. And here, have a few hugs back! *huggles*
