Okay. After getting the DVD and watching Oofuri for the... third time, I have decided I'm going to cosplay Hamada. Now, since Acen is two weeks before my finals, my parents should let me go, though no promises yet...

I saw 1 cosplayer from this series in 2010. I think I may have been the only one that recognized him though because I didn't see anyone else that did. He was in the full uniform and carried around a little doll of the main character.

Mmmmm... well unless my parents will somehow let me skip school on Friday, then I won't be able to make it on Friday. Both Saturday and Sunday are good for me.

I was Shinooka (the girl manager) last year. By chance, that group of kids who were cosplaying some of the members of the team found me in the convention hall and we all took a photo together. My friend's got the photo; otherwise I'd upload it.

I won't be cosplaying Shinooka again this year (I think that costume is cursed, actually... Each time I've worn it I've gotten dreadfully sick) but I will bring along my baseball hat.

This is my favorite anime, period. (And no, it's not because of the supposed, hinted-at boy love thing. Come on, guys.)

I made a damned cute Shinooka though, if I do say so myself. ;P

Haha. <3 Yeah, I'm also into Oofuri because of the character development, plot, how the baseball is played out, etc. While I may be a fan of boys love, I can't see any of that in this series. Personally, I think that their 'relationship' is only one of friends. Guys aren't always in a love relationship just because they care about the other.

...and it seems like I ranted... ;;

I probably won't cosplay from Oofuri, but I'd love to hang out with y'all, if only to share the Oofuri love. <3

I blame Mihashi and his little bird beak mouth...he's too adorable. Unfortunately, I can't make it to Acen this year so I will be trying to cosplay from this show next year as Mihashi, probably his school uniform if I can't make or figure out how to get his baseball uniform.
