2006 TV series. I didn't want to watch it until I got the last single I needed (the hard to find and expensive Volume 5...darn you ADV and your limited printing...), but then once I got it I didn't have a chance to watch the series before school started up again. It was recommended I watch it during the wintertime anyway for a more pleasurable experience, so I'm fitting it in during my break. XD

As for a non animeated series a friend got me into was "Firefly" great show to watch, sadly only 14 episodes till it was cut off the air

If you've watched Tsubasa, then check out some of the other CLAMP anime. xxxHolic, Cardcaptor Sakura, Angelic Layer, Chobits, Magic Knight Rayearth, etc. Then try and see if you can point out the characters from those anime as you've seen them in Tsubasa. XD
If you like NANA, you can always try Beck?

I've never seen Beck myself, but I've heard this comparison a lot. (And Beck is on my list of shows to watch.)
There's also Paradise Kiss, which is based on a manga by the same manga-ka behind NANA.


Back on topic: Watched a couple episodes of Winter Sonata, but probably gonna drop this since I'm not feeling it so far. Up next: Ore no Imouto.

Finally finished watching Princes Jellyfish (Kuragehime) I can not recommend this show enough. On the surface it is very fluffy but after a few episodes you find that the fluffiness does cover some serious problems the show covers. The OP and ED are ultra addicting I have been listing to Sambomaster and Chatmonchy virtually non-stop for 2 days now. The only negative is that one character is horribly annoying, her speech, her actions everything about her is plain annoying. I am not sure if this is intentional or not, the series does deal with a group of NEET otakus so it might have been planned that way.

I'm watching that currently with a group of friends, and even at only 4 episodes in, love how the story has built so quickly and there is potential for greater depth in the future. Look forward to what is coming up for the next couple of episodes. And I'm guessing that really annoying character you're referring to is the one obsessed with Records of Three Kingdoms who dresses in the green track outfit?

As for me, my desire to watch Bleach just suddenly tanked (at ep 282), I'm not sure why, since even though I know the show's gotten too big for its own good and has so many flaws, I thought I'd just keep going and ride it out. But desire to watch it has just been fading fast...

I'm working my way through Hikaru no Go in my spare time, and while the mental challenge and story of someone who is trying to succeed at his hobby is inspiring, is it just me or are the drawings... kinda terrible? Also, anime club here at school will start up again next week, will be watching Higashi no Eden (already seen it), Xam'd, Darker than Black and Casshern Sins, all of which I should finish right before ACEN ^^

Casshern Sins is another show that I really liked the art was bleak yet still beautiful the voice acting was amazing, but at the same time the show is very depressing at times.

Full Metal Panic! (all 3 seasons. Fumoffu is AWESOME )

I like to take advantage of college vacations to watch as much as I can. I practically never have time during my semesters.

(Although I did just finish rewatching Ouran High School Host Club -- another favorite)

Next up on my list is *checks* (YES I KEEP AN ACTUAL LIST) probably Gurren Lagan, Clannad, or Eureka 7.

It's a fantastic series. It took me a few episodes to warm up to it, but once I did, it was pure love. Sousuke is such a moron, but I love him. You're going to LOVE Fumoffu. It's hysterical. Pure crack and WTF-moments.

I liked Tatami Galaxy a lot more than I expected to- just so long as you're able to keep up with the subtitles and dialogue, it's fine since otherwise it's like having the Bullet Train blitz by you...

As for FMP... I am one of the few who seriously thought it overrated. Not Fumoffu, which was hilarious since it was focused, but the 1st and 2nd season both seemed like they suffered an identity crisis: They didn't know whether they were supposed to be a funny high-school gag comedy or an action-packed series with some mechs, so they decided to do both... not so well and the transition between them was poor, so it felt like 2 genres and shows haphazardly glued together. Sousuke was funny, yes, but that humor was also followed with me wanting to bang my head against the wall. TSR was even worse, since it felt like the plot stagnated in the middle with little-to-no-action, then rushed the end with everything thrown at you at once.

Still working through Hika no Go, also Star Driver EX and Angel Beats. Hoping to complete Gundam 08th MS Team before ACEN or get started on D-Gray Man.
