Parts of Transformers 3 (2011) will be shot in Chicago and they are looking for extras.
Who wants to be an extra? I might do it. Cosplay if you can.
I would love to see a scene in the movie where there's a cosplayer in the crowd running from a transformer battle.

Sorry, but if I go there to be an extra they may mistake me for someone who has actual talent and then I'd have this on my resume.

Even though there's going to be no Megan Fox, I guess this could go either way. Most likely down though.

Small price to pay. There are plenty of GOOD movies made in Chicago. Do one of those instead.

My friends bro was an extra in the Dark Knight movie...I'm not sure how he got in it though but I would LOVE to be an extra in a movie! (And I'd cosplay lol)

I've wanted in on this from the moment I first heard about it... I've got several mecha related cosplay, so it'd be fun to mix this into a TF movie.

I'd go to that office and demand to be an extra...as a Transformer. Then threaten to sue for discrimination, or complain to the Screen Actor's Guild that my job was taken by some CGI creature who doesn't get paid.

Failing that, having Sailor Bubba running down the street being chased by Megatron would be worth the price of admission. And this is Michael Bay here. We already know he goes for the cheap laugh when he's not blowing up something.

This may or may not be somewhat related but does anyone know where I can keep updated on where the T3 shoots are gonna be during those weeks? This may or may not effect my SoyCon event, but I want to make sure that we don't get in the way of their shoot or hopefully doesn't use the spaces during our travel.

I know from my friends experience as a extra here, (Apparently a lot of movies are made in hodunk Iowa. Who knew? :P) that they usually tell you what you have to wear.

Yeah, that was my experience when I was an extra once. I didn't even see myself in the movie. It's really awesome to see all the movie equipment and people.

Hate to burst everyone's bubble, but Megan Fox will not be in the 3rd Transformers movie. She's being replaced though by a model, so you will have eye candy.

Wow, that's way too long! I don't know how that stuff works, but I assume people who are accepted after the casting call will have to go back a few times for filming.
