Online Pre-Reg For 2011 Bit of info (pricing, etc)

The earliest it will open is Sept 1st. We will announce the date by mid August. It has come to my attention that one reg staff member was guessing the answer to when this would open at the convention and apologize to anyone who was misinformed. Online registration will never open immediately after the convention (May was the date he gave). Due to issues with staff guessing answers no answer is official unless answered by myself or one of my 5 assistant dept heads. We will modify our post about who to ask for answers when they are all registered on the forum. For now you can message myself, moogle_21, Faithfull_Jello, and Ever (3 of my assistants).

I ask that attendees and staff (including registration staff) refrain from answering registration based questions as we have revamped much of the dept and many policies have changed. If you see a question that needs to be answered you can message me or one of my assistants with the link and we will get to it asap. Thank you!

No prices have changed from last year. Dates are being finalized still and will by announced by mid august.

PRE CON DATES AND PRICES ARE TO BE ANNOUNCED

Single day badges can only be purchased at the convention.
Friday - $35
Saturday - $35
Sunday - $25
Friday and Saturdays can be purchased the day before their use. Sunday can only be purchased on Sunday.

It said the earliest is Sept 1 that does not mean that it is only that the date is the earliest posible.

That was a few years ago. Prices are the same as last year

35 is the roadshow rate.

We are still working on revamping our system to be more user friendly to make registering a smooth experience for our attendees, the web server dieing delayed us a little. We are aiming for mid September to October 1st.

A tier is a different time frame for each price. For example:

Tier one is Month A Day B - Month G Day C. You can buy the 40 dollar badge during that tier.

Tier two is Month G Day D - Month I Day E. You can buy the 45 dollar badge during that tier.

etc. etc.

I would have put in actual months and days, but I didn't want people to think that those were the actual tier dates.

Only 3 day badges can be purchased online. Single day badges are only sold at the convention (along with 3 day). When we use the term full badge it's referring to a 3 day badges.

There really isn't any point to offer single day online..
if your taking the time to get it online ahead of the con, you might as well take advantage of the full weekend badge. It is the best deal.

I actually have to disagree.

People who can only go to the con for one day wouldn't like to stand in a 2-5 hour line and miss half of the day of fun things they can be doing =/

I always go the full weekend, but there are some people who cannot. Not that they don't want to, but other things in life have to take priority over ACen... so I do find it kind of vexing that they don't have one-day badges available for online purchases.

If you read what Bloo said, registration isn't up yet. The earliest date possible that it would be up is September 1st, but that doesn't mean that it will be up September 1st. She's saying it could be up at that time, but it could be up later than that time.

Our line wait time is MUCH better than it use to be. For the past 2 years it's been average under 30 minutes (if there was a line, most of the day it's about 15 people long and we have 14 payment stations) AS LONG AS you don't come during the morning rush when people are lined up around the block. Then it's about an hour. We suggest you don't come right at opening, we open an hour or two before the convention hall opens so people don't miss time in there

Single day badges can be bought the day before they are active.

It has not opened yet. We plan for between the 14th and October 1st. ATM it will not be the 14th, the system is still being revamped to be more user friendly. We're excited with the changes we've seen with it so far!
