Its sweltering outside today. Yesterday was about the same. I turned on the AC and im inside a cool office drinking water. Too hot to go outside >.< Remember how we were complaining about how cold it is on the forums? I just wish it was 75-80 degrees. That's just perfect for me. Anything above that...ill be in Antarctica. So how do you guys feel about the weather.

I prefer cold. You can control your body tempreture with layers of clothing (which don't result in high electricty bills), but in the heat, you're fried and you have to keep hydrated and you're all sticky and your skin burns and you feel all muggy and tired.

Heat is the enemy!

It's pretty warm but this is nothing to 100+ high humidity days down in Georgia during the summer.

I'll take more heat if it means I can keep the humidity down.

Just gotta remember the sunscreen with all the sun. (Already a little toasty from Sunday)

It's not hot. Still not even 90 outside, much less really friggin' humid yet.

I try to drink enough water (no soda) just to keep my body temp cool and I sweat so bad. Its so muggy out here. I wish night would come sooner >.<

I never complained that it was cold. I love cold weather xD

This heat is not my friend though. I don't like it, my servers don't like it, my electric bill doesn't like it. Maybe I should just use it as an excuse to go to the beach.

Oh, btw, the AC is out at work ><

It's not that hot here in Carbondale.

Then again, that is most likely due to the rain that we are about to get.

Bakery + heat = Dead Lina.

I work in a bakery and with the giant ovens on, it gets really really hot. Today was not a good day at work. Luckily, I only worked 4 1/2 hours today.

Remember a few months ago when everyone was bitching about how cold it was, and I was like "Your just going to bitch about the heat in the summer?"

Guys, it's Chicago. Hot Summers, Cold Winters. I'd think we'd be used to this by now.

>.< Laaaaame. Ours is actually working, but the results are iffy because every desk in my shop has at least two towers underneath them and three monitors on top. My buddy across the aisle has a thermometer on his desk that routinely reads above 80F.

I can usually stand outside in 20 degree weather and not need a coat....my body is to hot, so I like things being cold, I sleep with a fan on every night even in the middle of winter. So yeah, this weather is horrible for me. And I usually have to turn on the AC at work when I get there cause most people at work are of darker skin and can handle the heat better then I can.

I already miss complaining about the cold! It's always easier to warm up than it is to cool down.

And the bad thing is, My family can't "afford" to turn on the AC. So we're sitting here with windows wide open and every fan in the house cranked up. Currently, I'm set up in my basement because it's amazingly cool down here.

I just moved my living room down to my basement out of space concerns, but I've already noticed that it's much cooler down there even without my AC running.

I know. It's REALLY nice down here. I think I'll just spend the summer down here if this weather keeps up

I'm loathing going to work today. I work at Wal-Mart, and supposedly our AC units are controlled in Arkansas. Wanna bet no one down there knows that it's 80+ here today and we need AC, whether by their own knowledge or someone from our store contacting them? Yeah...-_- Last time it got this hot, the store was pretty much leaking everywhere (AC pipes leaking onto the floor, coolers condensing, the food condensated by the time it hits the register belt, etc.). And of course, thanks to our store district's new dress code (oh how I hate you...), most of us are forced to wear dark-blue, thick-fabric collared shirts and khaki pants (unless you're in the garden center, then you can wear khaki shorts...but I don't know if being in there today will be much better than the actual store).

-clings to my AC- I don't wanna leave chu~!

I use to work at Wal-Mart, people must have known about a secret area or something cause I was the only one besides cart pushers that would have a soaked shirt after an hour...O wait...that was cause I was the only one actually doing any work...Even so, I was always blazing hot in the store, even though "management" said the AC was cranked.

I work in a 35 degree environment, and sometimes -20 so I have no problem with this heat. Any day I can drive with the windows down is a good day to me.

*whimpers* I usually don't mind heat, but I don't get out of school until next Wednesday, the dorms don't have AC (though the lobby of the building I live in and the Caf do...) and I only have one pair of shorts that I happened to accidentally pack in my laundry when I was home for ACen. ;.;

I do not have a problem with the heat, just the transition. Last week I was freezing in line at the soap bubble, now I am burning outside. They just changed my school policy so the AC will only make the building 5 degrees cooler than it is outside, I feel so horrid for all the men in their dress shirts XD
